New acquisitions

Found in a local charity shop a few weeks ago. Not the work of a great artist obviously but find it a pleasing view of the bridges over the broad majestic Tyne. Will probably be donated back to where I found it when I get bored of seeing it on my wall.

Something you might be interested in if you visit London,I have been advised to make a request to Rigby & Co to visit their museum to view Jim Corbetts rifle and a man eating tigers skin,I wasn’t aware of the museum or the fact you could visit if you asked.

The bloke I met who told me to request a visit said it’s a single room, not a huge museum, but Corbetts rifle is in there, lots of history attached to that.

The war(s) when the British army started to question the reasoning of lining infantry up in nice neat lines firing volley wearing red tunics with white webbing creating a helpful aiming point ?
