WILF 44,334
Air Force Texan .457 Don’t ask me how they engineer an air rifle that powerful but it’s some tool isn’t it
sussex 5,776
Got to be .22 ...the .177 carries further but you must need the stopping power of the .22 if your hunting buffalo ..I’d certainly want someone behind with a .22 , just as back up , if I did try the .177 ...
Jonjon79 13,340
So, can King shoot ducks with it or not?
South hams hunter 8,837
I couldn't put my faith in any airgun like that; saw a video of a yank shooting bears with one and my head just can't comprehend it
Born Hunter 17,639
I'm disgusted! It should be criminal to take a Buff with something so tacky and classless! LOL If I was privileged enough to get a fair chase at one of those I'd want something that at least felt fitting. A nice double maybe.
Greyman 25,290
Big game air rifle hunting has been on the rise for a few years now also air rifles that fire arrows have made big steps forward

Powered by air so I must disagree with you, it’s only the calibre that’s different, think the cost of ammo is a big thing in its favour
WILF 44,334
Anyway, to get in the spirit of Air gun hunting: .22 is good out to 9000m but for range work you want the flatter trajectory of .177 which is lethal at upto 18000m ! (Allowing for the wind of course !) 1
