Reports of the demise of Ronnie O'Sullivan as a top snooker player are somewhat exaggerated, ( apologies to Mark Twain).

His first session against Mark Williams ended with him losing 6-2.

The second session has just ended and it's 8-8 !

The final session is tonight, and who knows, he could still lose, after all Williams is no mug, he is a three times World Champion.

But O'Sullivan is still the most exciting and watchable player in Snooker !

Got to be honest, o'sullivan, mark williams and a couple of others of roughly the same ilk, are what snooker has needed for a good many years now.

Apart from alex higgins  jimmy white and kirk stevens, just off the top of my head, the 70's and 80's were boring as f**k.

There are still some boring fuckers still playing mind. Cheating b*****ds too, JOHN HIGGINS. f**k me, with what he's won and the success he's had, WORRA f****n BULB!!! Should've been fined treble the amount he was, and banned for 3 years

Just because they sell a football club in Monaco does not stop them owning a property there and living there for extended periods .

 

It seems there is some credibility about it as rumours are Donald is going back to eastleigh or going to invest in Oxford but it's just rumours at the min max but Donald  asking price plus we're the club's at especially at the moment it's a big risk for any investors what's happened in the last 6 years as knocked you back years regardless of investment

as in a skill based game Reliant on technique and experience , rather than physical prowess you’d think that the muscle memory and the experience accrued would lead to a series of older type masters of their craft if that makes sense ? 
 

Instead they seem to peak late thirties and drift downhill from there, concentration perhaps ? Natural testosterone diminishing leading to a lack of a competitive edge ?

I think eyesight has a big impact on sports like that but maybe the most important part is dedication. 

I think the younger you are the more likely you are to put the hours in to practice, when you get older and have a family it's hard to break away from that mentally.
