Bottom line is, it’s a bitter hatred of Newcastle In order to try and look the big Sunderland supporter.......nobody f***ing cares about Sunderland football club except Sunderland supporters, end of.

As I saw it they were going to invest in the local community as well as the football club.

They were also going to invest in the grass roots aswell, Wallsend Boys Club was mentioned in particular.

If the take over was indeed meant to be an excersize in "sportswashing", then they had to win over hearts and minds, not rip people off, that would be counter productive.

The "feel good factor" of the take over alone would have been a boost for the region in these testing times.
