The best way to defeat this would be to come together to fight it were a divided people we have been for a thousand years if the people of the British isles came together we would be the best place in the whole world turf the political classes out(Norman's) and come together Wales England Scotland Ireland it would be bliss, but sadly it will never happen. My wife’s great grandmother was very senior in her local Lodge......I suspect one of the few women to ever get to such a senior position, especially at the time.

I fully agree with you on everything you just wrote.

I'm 100% behind of been proud of your history, heritage and culture.  You can have all that with out hate. No room left for it, and it's not the way forward. 

We both know the history between our countries, not good for the most part. But I don't hold anything against any British today for it happening.

I would love nothing more than the whole of Ireland be reunited as one, as should be.  It's our and no one's else's, but not at the cost of innocent people loosening their lives, regardless of what side their from.

Genuine question , if the partition of Ireland had never happened and Ireland was still part of Britain as a whole do you reckon there would still of been trouble and animosity between both sides ?
