One of my best mates and long time hunting buddy had a seizure a couple of days before Christmas and was told he has a brain tumour and is in for an operation Wednesday morning ... fingers crossed they can get most of it out and radio therapy gets the rest ... 46 with 4 kids is way to young for shit like this .......

I’ve had 7 hours of brain surgery myself. I know there good they managed to find a brain which surprised a good many I can tell you?

I sent him this today because I’m full of compassion ? .......

There’s some bloody good brain surgeons about theses days so all being well any op will go to plan and he can get on to the road to recovery a.s.a.p.

Good luck for your mate socks, to go through that at 46 is hard. To watch your kids coming to visit is hard thinking you will not come out of the hospital. God bless him mate and wishing him the very best

A friend of my wife had a brain tumour and they could only remove some of it because if they took it all out there was a risk of loss of speech and blindness as well as motor skills . They told her they would treat it with radiotherapy , but warned her it will come back . Every six months she goes for a check up and it’s like having the “sword of Damocles “ hanging over her head while she waits for the results of the tests . But that was 20 years ago and so far so good . With today’s medicine it’s not the death sentence it once was . I sincerely hope it all goes well for your friend, life can be very cruel sometimes. ATB
