Mate if you're out running teeth on a regular basis and the big gear you can't go wrong with a good bull cross.

That’s your opinion and that’s fair enough

That’s fair enough for you I don’t care if my dogs better then anyone’s been there and been out with fellas who had panic attacks if there dogs not better then the next

mine are below average there my dogs they catch and they miss big f***ing deal they meet my standards

and yeah I guess your standards are high much like boss hogs which for your information I have seen and other people see on here catch roe single handed and catch the odd hare day time on big land

but look this is dragged on to far mate to the point where it’s got silly

I respect the fact your proud of what your dogs can do and have done and god bless you I hope they carry on to do that

there is mate but is it all season the lad on here puts bits up single irish kid

but i’ve never known a single handed bull cross ❌ work  like a lurcher they double up early season then when scarce and for the big things the ones see work teeth are with the digging lads. that’s what i seen found anyway

You know what lads are like, some run double just for the fact that they are scared to death that their dog might not get a run. Obviously those with dogs that don't make the grade will run doubled up because they aren't confident in the dogs ability. And it's common sense to to throw more than one dog out on the really big gear because they take some stopping.

Been out with lads that ran every run doubled didn't mean there dogs couldn't do em single handed they just did the serious numbers 5 6 times a week the best dog in the world wouldn't have accountted for the numbers they did night in night out single I think everyone is different some like the course some like the kill some just like to be out with there dog away from everyone else.everyone's greatest dog is someone else's shite but as long as your happy with your kennel who gives a feck

Morning, taken a step back from quad bikes and hounds - Don’t need the grief anymore. Having moved house my country has changed, curious of those that do hunt the hills with their lurches and a terrier at your heel, how do you bring them on? Getting the right dog for the job is no brainier but what about the training? Thanks.

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect
