Lost the terrier not long back rang the vets said we had a black terrier in wearing a strange coller but not chipped I told them that I had it chipped and it was them that chipped it rang me back 2 minutes later yes it's her I'd bin traipsing round for hours in the dark aswell

Had my mushroom fuuck off one time after a bitch out of the garden, chipped and well know to the local warden etc.

Bitch picked him up! When I called she starts prattling on about hunting and threatened to have him destroyed unless we paid 150. We got the local councillor, paper and MP's office involved. Paid kennel expenses only (bout 70 i think) got brief onto it and told her, if she contacts us again without reasonable cause and conduct we'll have her up for harassment

My pup learnt to open doors so I put a latch at the top of the doors that he can't get to its worked a treat.

We found a staffy in the yard last year and handed into the vet. They kept it for 24 hours then gave to the dog warden. We rang a few times to see if it got back to its owner and no one got back to us and heard nothing. Heard of some woman looking for a dog local and couldn't get hold of her either. Did the facebook thing. Right shambles no one seemed to give a toss. Lovely dog too. If it  were mine I would be sat in the car at the pound all night until the morning. Not sure why but i would lol

You should leave the dog in the care of the warden.

They hopefully will find a new owner that would look after the dog properly.
