One bloke said killing a black rabbit was bad luck...he shot one and had a car crash, shot another and had a heart attack. I shot one and my dad died of a heart attack that night. Now I know my dad had a heart attack because of diet and smoking but I now can't even go near a black rabbit. grompz 703 Posted August 20, 2017 Report Share Posted August 20, 2017 lots of the old boys that used to go to the fishing were very superstious, would go mad if you whistled on the quay side would say you were whistling the wind up,if they met a ginger headed woman or people they termed as jonahs on the way to the boats they would turn round and head home,you wernt allowed to say the words rabbit,salmon, or black cat whilst at sea, crazy but true.
