Bush Rummager 4,769
Just to wanted to say.. think i mentioned the number '250' a few pages back.. that is the number of these big cats that the Uk could support according to those in the know. Not the current UK cat population. Different types of cat too. Yeah.. 250 sounds a lot i agree. Say there were 100 of these big moggies in the UK. Uk 94k sq miles. Thats 0.001 big kitties per mile... Trying to put that into perspective. Take Cornwall for this example.. We've all been and it's easy to visualise. Cornwall.. 1439 Sq miles. That gives Cornwall a population of 1.53 big cat's... Cornwall is 75 miles long as has an average breadth of 22 miles!! Obviously I'm just having a laugh with these numbers but if ever there was a case of finding a needle in a haystack this has got be it and wish i those people comitted to getting to the bottom of thing's the best of look!!

So the theory of breeding populations just doesn't wash, unless of course they are basically breeding with thin air.

Is there evidence of there destruction or rehoming? A lot of them were let loose into our countryside.

If there are any out there.. they could all live in the same county for all i know!! I'll go along with your theory then mate.. they don't exist. There. The end. 1

There are a couple of people admitting to releasing puma and leopard on the film, also the previous owners of Dartmoor zoo are on there explaining how many calls they were getting at the time telling them there pumas had escaped when they were sat in there cage, it was illegal to own them after 76 but only became illegal to release them from 83 onwards so there was a 7 year window to legally let them go, would have also happened in ww2 when there was no meat to feed people, why keep an animal that only eats meat when people are starving?
