His father came over to Ireland once in mid 80s I think after 3 days he was of home he says  to me auld lad ya made your bed ya can lay in it il never be back in Ireland again haha and he never came back ha funny thing is my mother's father was old ira fought in 1916 rising

I have an amazing fact about the North West of England seeing as your dad is an Oldham lad and the reason so many football grounds in the North West have “Kop ends”

Its because it was Lancashire Regiments made up of men from the north west that were in the battle of Spion Kop in the Boer War at the relief of Ladysmith ! 
My brother The Stiffmeister told me that amazing bit of history….I love telling it to Irish Liverpool supporters !
