Malt 379
Oh....recently then. I didn't think to look back over 100 years. Silly me. We only let Italy into the championship so we wouldn't win any more wooden spoons. Hey we got long memories here in Wales!

jiggy 3,209
If Johnny sexton keeps getting targeted for concussion in every match he plays in he will end up dead or seriously injured. Maybe something could be done about protecting players before rather than after a tragedy happens. For what's supposed to be a gentlemans sport deliberately targeting players who have previous head injuries isn't very sporting.
ftm 3,357
as an ENGLAND fan of course we gutted with that result but who wouldn't be? its over now & give or take a few days I will be over it - the better team won on the day so well done to the IRISH but I have to say it was a cracking tournament

For what's supposed to be a gentlemans sport deliberately targeting players who have previous head injuries isn't very sporting. i was always told by my old man, it's gentlemens sport ,played by thugs , and you look back over the years some of the its, fights that gone on , on a rugby pitch , my old dad was right . But i think there trying to change it now, even though george north , only resiliently had to tackles and was took off for safety reasons , anything to do with (head, neck, spine ) they bring them off . ive always thought my self that these players , must fookin ache for week or 2 after a game, i know there bigger and stronger than your average man, but even at 14 st of muscle like sexton , going to get hurt bad with 18 1/2 st strong fit man hitting him , just look at some of the hits jonny wilkinson as took over the years , it was only because he was fit and got the exter muscle on him to protect him he was similar size to sexton . i love football love the wolves they won yesterday , but some of footballers today rolling around on the floor make me laugh , bloody wimps lol, if the took the punishment a rugby player takes , them never come out of the changing room
socks 32,253
I knew it was time to stop playing rugby when my body couldn't recover from a game before the next training session ... you end up just perminantly aching .........
dodger 3,587
It's a hard game played both Union and league found league the tougher of the two but enjoy both, I know a lot of handy lads but they've never gave rugby a proper go strange that..

dodger 3,587
Union can be quick aswell but theres a lot more stopping n starting were as in league the ball is in play a lot more plus fewer set pieces n rules which makes for a lot more phisical skilful n free flowin game.. I wonder is it worth the risk killing the man to gain an advantage for their team. It's a low act and should be punished severely. The man has family and I wonder how those players would feel if he was a made a vegetable or killed would they stand proud in a guard of honour for him.Play tough but play by the rules tackling a mans head is a scumbags act.?
