iworkwhippets 13,148
I good days and memories for me, 1958, out with the mates, a right rum lot, lurchers and terriers, we took everything up on them moors, had good hidings off gamekeepers, Anderson shelter in my back yard full of ferrets, kestrels, outside bog, you took a dump in winter, hit a block of ice, no telly, my first sexual encounter with Doris, you could walk down the street with your arm around ya mate, without fear of being called a botty basher, but my best memories of my youth, are being out with my dogs, a whip x grey, and a terrier, I loved it then, and still do, Christ, thinking back, I could write a book
johnny boy68 11,726
1980 I became a teenager so I was young, dumb and full of cum for the rest of the 80's. ? The 70s were great, you'd always have somebody running round covered in calamine lotion cause they had chicken pox, the old girl would say go and play with him so you catch it and get it over with haha. 1976 heatwave was something else, burnt feet with the roads melting and water stations at the end of the street, the river running through the village was just a trickle for weeks. Great times for sure.

Kaiserdog 20
I was born in 74, the cars were better, food tasted better proper chocolate not this French shit. No one addicted to mobiles or Internet,(hold my hands up to this one) Proper defined seasons , more wildlife around ,now it's just badgers foxes mink and corvids Though the deer seem more popular now. Good times an I am glad I was there, I truly worry what my kids will face! Just landed at the end me 79 so just missed out but reckon the 70s be just as good.. 70,s was great especially the summer of 76 school hols seemed endless so was the sun, happy times, worry freeSame here I was a kid in the 70's, all of the above, out all day, lived on tip tops & back home for tea then out till after dark!
