Moorside 642
To me saying whippets are all shite etc etc is about as sensible as saying all black people are shit at swimming or all chinese people are good at maths... Edited July 4, 2016 by Moorside Quote Link to post

socks 32,253
Cmon trev the dog clips a tree on his second stride that's hardly equal to hitting a tree at full speed is it ........ 2 Quote Link to post
Phil Lloyd 10,736
Mind you,..some whippets do lead charmed lives.... I once saw Madgwick's Black whippet, course a bolter along a banking,...the rabbit headed straight towards a massive wooden telegraph pole,..the dog was following on at top speed. The rabbit jinked at the last moment and the dog litteraly crashed straight into the solid pole... I thought,..."that is fecking,.that" . However,.the wee speedster seemed to bounce off the creosoted timber and went on to catch the rabbit , whereupon they both tumbled headfirst into the water filled ditch....It was impressive,...but for a split second,...emotional.. 5 Quote Link to post
