Just my opinion after 37 years of lamping of the DL100

The wife got me it mate, I'm f****d if she see's this lol.

Why don't you try a candle in a jam jar. And a handle for you.so you can climb over 5 bar gates with out burning your fingers.

I hate lamps with "any" spread or glare on them,id not set off out the house with that bottom one Gaz haha

Be interesting to see a striker 170 alongside,,,,wouldn't suprise me if there was much difrence with the bottom one

Everyone to there own but I have yet to find a better lamp for me than the Clulite LA10 Blazerlite with the 100w bulb, and gate lamp. We couldnt lamp without a filter and we need good distance. I soon got rid of my 170 when I found these. They are all british made and wired a lot better than deben.

Im not saying they are perfect because they are not but you can send a dog out to quarry that thinks its safe because it shines a long way,and the led batteries weigh nothing and last well. I suppose a lot depends on where you live and the country you lamp. The la10 is not to be confused with the smaller clulite that looks the same but doesnt have the 100w bulb and steel reflector. They are crap.
