The thing that amused me was Ronaldo with his strapped knee walking the touchline with not a hint of a limp for 30 yards till he remembered, then going into a pantomime limp/hop to make up for not limping previously. It's all bout opinions but he would not be a big draw for me, I have nothing against him as I like him hardness but I just don't see it, West hams new manager would be my fit. It certainly could ruin a young man, but I just fear we'll never move forward without a risk, Allardyce Bruce etc aren't risks you know what they bring, I think they are club managers though, allardyce works hard on fitness, then keeping a solid hard to beat shape, it's served him well but f**k that for the national side. He don't get the time wit the players to get all that into them, he's a slow burn to get results, not knocking it it's a compliment if anything. But who have we got? Eddie Howe? he did a great job last year to keep Bournemouth up, plus they played some decent football, but is he ready ?? Spose you'll never know unless you try.. Neville? Shame it never worked in Spain plus he has to share some of the blame for the England flop, but he's as passionate as they come, talks a lot of sense and perhaps has been unlucky? What about Mark Hughes?? f****d over at Man City when he was doing a good job, got Stoke playing decent football, now that's praise alone as over the years Stoke are one shit side to watch lol.. Mark Hughes is who I would short list. Gnasher; I don't agree that England are on their arse. The team is basically sound, but the tactics employed by Woy let them down. Just my opinion of course. In that case it all goes back to expectation then, Rightly or wrongly As great as it was Wales severely over delivered, no one would of guessed a semi final place before the tournament and they were cheered off the pitch and arrived home to a heroes welcome. Only a few of that Welsh team would command a place in the top sides I Europe, and that's what is so good about the achievement. Of course it's frustrating watching a team like England who judging by the players alone should achieve so much more, when you have 2 of the top scorers in the prem, Chelsea and Utds first choice centre backs, Rooney who's stats speak for themselves, plus some of the so called best young talent in Europe all playing week in week out in one of if not the best leagues in the world and looking class for the their clubs, yeah it's a bit frustrating...
