lukey 1,621
The warriors, brings back memories of our first vhs recorder with the remote control on a wire you had to plug into the machine, I remember I was first kid in class for our family to have one. As bosun said scum and kes, am big fan of brit flicks and here is a few good ones I liked Restless Natives ( with the cracking big country sound track to it ) McVicar an old classic Get Carter The Italian job ect, atb Still remember the excitement when my dad bought our 1st vhs player with auto rewind! Use to moan like fuk at us if we stopped the tape just before it got to the end then clicked on to rewind! Would go of his nut if he went to watch a tape and had to sit and wait 10 mins for it to rewind before he could watch ????

Brilliant, I remember as a youngster watching the first ten or fifteen minutes and thinking what's all this about but it is definetly right up there as one of the best British gangster films.
fifeman 164
Another couple of brit flic classics are, not oldies but just good films Going off Big Time, with a bit part by peter kay. A low budget movie, but one I enjoyed Another two about one the irish lads will know, martin cahill the irish gangster An Ordinary Decent Criminal, with keven spacey and The General, with brendan gleeson both cracking brit flicks atb
morton 5,369
Along with Scum, Kes and the Kentucky Fried Movie, the Warriors was one of the films of my youth... "For all you boppers out there" I remember going to the flics to watch it,a bunch of young testosterone fuelled lads then heading for the boozer and wanting a scrap after a couple of pints.Happy days, apart from the lad who,d never seen the film and made the warrior watchers regret their youthful impudence.
