Jack Russell To Be Kennel Club Recognised

Recommended Posts

The Jack Russell should never be under 12" (nothing should be smaller than 12",lol ) but if the KC want to wreck another type of dog, let them at it.

The JRT has been recognised by the KC for quiet a few years now under the more profitable name of the "Parson Russell".

Those who want to keep the type as a proper worker will show their true loyalty when there's many ££££££££££ waved in their faces.

The Kennel Club don't ruin breeds, the breeders do that

As long as there's good honest lads keeping, working and breeding JRT types then they'll be around for a long time yet, Kennel Club be damned :victory:

The Kennel club have no say in , size, shape, of any breed of pedigree dog

The Kennel club is just a business that rely on breeders to keep the business up and running

K.C Registration is one of the biggest cons in the dog world worth many millions of pounds

I wonder is the Jack Russell in safe hands ?

Let's face it but the JRT was the original badger digging terrier and was the type that was being used to dig badgers when the coloured terriers were still in the lakes being used nearly wholly on fox in un-diggable places.

I know badger digging is now illegal but IMO if the JRT is to be anywhere near it's original standard (Badgers, not 14 lbs by 14 inches.) it should be the ultimate fox dog.

Is it ?

Yes, I know there's plenty of good ones out there but are there many lads out there with kennels of them ?

Also, with some lads they seem to move the goalposts regarding JRTs. They get them to dig to but if they don't work out they'll use them for bushing and if they make good bushers then breed from them but seem to forget that bushing wasn't why they were bred in the first place.

JMHO.

The JRT needs some hard core attention IMO and I hate using the term Hard Core.
