jacknife 2,005
I think the families of the wives sisters and daughters that the Russian troops raped and the children of the Sudatenland that where abandoned and left to starve mightn't think he done a good job for the German people . The Russians were every bit as bad...I have a Red Cross letter dated 1953 from a German prisoner of war to his family He says in letter he hopes to survive the winter in the hope he'll be sent home eventualy
Born Hunter 17,956
If the man had been hit by a bus before deciding to take over Europe, he'd probably be remembered as one of the greatest leaders in history. It's a shame he couldn't have been moderated, the tech advancements that came under Nazi rule were cutting edge stuff but he also lost a lot of really great minds through certain extreme social policies. He wanted free hand in the east, but didn't plan to take over Europe. At least until Europe declared war on him he only defended his people who were being murdered in stolen German land. I'd be ashamed of any British leader who didn't do the same. I think there's two sides to that story....

DogFox123 1,379
At the end of the day war brings out the best and worst in people, our home born hero Bomber Harris was no saint, the Allies did commit sadistic acts too. *The*Field*Marshall* 674
I get those who say "we could do with some of his antics to sort some of our unwanted out"! . . That said, remember he would've certainly taken things far further than the most extreme of us would like. . I mean you wouldn't of wanted blue eyes and blonde hair for a start with his 'aryan' race ideas . . Although, contact lenses and bleach might've been tried!
keepitcovert 842
Its a good job hitler remained in power for the duration of the war, he was probably the most inept military leader the germans possesed, attacking russia as he did he commited the cardinal sin of stretching the german armies lines of communication to breaking point, the russians were no saints but the red army was the main force in defeating the germans. Had rommel been in full control of the axis forces things may have turned out very different.
tandors 888
proved that fascism/nationalism provides the nation with everything it needs to develop. Pre 1939 what national socialist Germany achieved has never been equal led before or since. He came 70 years too early, if there was no ghosts of the nazis to bash every sane goy with when they dare criticise our multi ethnic utopia then Europe would not be in the mess it is now.

Lenmcharristar 10,333
the modern version of hitler is putin for he doesn't take any crap. all that our brave heros gave was for nothing for look what gb has become today. for too long we have been sheltered and safe on an island where all the wrong anti everything people have been running riot unchecked. where people think they cannot offend anybody so bend over and take it up the ring piece. for there has been tooooo many laws passed that hold the native populations in the doldrums and if you rise up and speak out your deemed rascist or a hater. no such thing as patriotism nowadays for the wronguns have twisted that into calling you a racist or bigot.
