Sticky Tape On Kids Mouth In School

Recommended Posts

Thing is with punishment and making them stay behind or homework, is that the parents just send in notes saying they're not doing it. Its only kids with parents who give a shit that it makes any difference with and those parents tend not to have children that cause problems in the first place. There is literally nothing teachers can do for the most part. They get one shit brained scheme or points systems after another which means f**k all to them or the kids dreamt up by some bell end in middle management . Who actually cares if their name goes up 5 times on the black board (sorry chalk board lol) or you get your name in a book that no one reads.

Was thinking about the cello tape thing and the logistics of it are mind boggling. cello-taping 20 kids with up to 6 strands each must have taken ages. Surely at some point in this process she would have calmed down and thought that maybe it wasnt the best of career moves

The little fukcers should have been quiet when they were told .........

this country is too much of a wrap them up in cotton wool place now   once upon a time, if your parents found out your were in trouble with pc plod, teachers etc, you'd get another hiding, we all kn

Exactly what that man said.

You try getting kids who misbehave in school to work at home when they won't even do it with you breathing down their necks. Most have chaotic home lives, with parents who don't care if they do the work or not as they've not got any desire to get off their work-shy arses and do some graft themselves, and don't see why their offspring should either. Illiterate parents who don't see why correct spelling, punctuation and grammar are important are also a right pain in the backside, as they don't/can't do the work with their kids from a young age that needs to be done to reinforce basic literacy.

We can't do it all in school, they've got to take some responsibility for raising their kids themselves and put the effort in.

Oh, and we don't have chalk any more, it's those fancy electronic 'smart boards' which never bloody work! :censored::laugh:

Using sellotape is absolutely disgusting................................................................ duck tape is what she wanted  Seriously though I do believe that discipline should be enforced in schools but the sellotape thing leaves a bad taste in the mouth :D I cant really see what that would achieve, I have at times been very strict with my boy but I wouldn't tape his mouth up, that just seems like a power trip type thing for the sake of it but maybe that's were I've been going wrong  Also has this been massively taken out of context, was it a fun type thing that the kid and parents have seen as an opportunity to make it on to the Jeremy Kyle show :hmm:I do know one thing though, I see youngsters who see no problem in swearing at any adult, youngsters that gang up to beat up and permanently disable members of the public and were is the deterrent, what's putting them off. I see a young mum waddling behind her 3 year old kid screaming out "you little f***er, I told you to walk slower". What chance has that kid got :hmm: Our current system is failing, the wrong people are breeding and as time goes on, the hard working and caring parent will be a thing of the past. I'm not even sure the situation can be recovered, its slipped that far. If people really looked at themselves and were honest about their ability to raise and care for a child rather than just pop out kids without any thought, then we would be in a much better situation.

i cant remember the exact details, but a few years ago some academic from a danish university did loads of statistical research, and found basically that the birth rates amongst the "useful" members of society were getting lower by the year, and the "degenerates" were increasing. he drew the conclusion that over time the overall quality of society was falling.

guess what, he was absolutely destroyed by the bleeding hearts, the liberal, apologist, PC , politicians hounded him, he was forced from his job, his career and life were ruined. and just because he spoke the truth!!!

This teacher has lost her job , career because of this ! Why was she driven to this !

Where was the support. Did she just decide to on a whim to quieten the little angels.

Or more likely was she being abused and snapped !

Its not child abuse ffs, get your priorities right.

it was wrong yes, at least in this PC day and age it is, but it shouldn't be taken out of context.

Maybe one day when people decide not to go into teaching because the pay doesn't match the ever increasing hoops you have to jump through to please dickhead parents and their dickhead kids, people will realise they need to discipline their theirs.

Doubt there's any point in arguing about it mate. Canny raise your hand to a bairn now for whatever reason....you've now to stick them on a step until 'they' decide to come off it. Then you've to give them a sweetie for punishing them and take a good hard look at your parenting skills. Atleast this way all kids learn to respect others and this country runs like clockwork......bullshit!!

And there's the demise of modern society. Half the world is still in the stone age, both mentally and culturally, and the other half can't wait to get back there. Oh to be a fly on the wall in a couple of hundred years or so!

for all the people saying about getting the belt or the cane. and at home many of you got a f***ing tanking regularly.

well my question is did it do any good? or another way could you have been taught to behave by non violent means.

i dont believe in hitting kids, and i certainly dont accepot someone else other than the kids parents laying a hand on them or any dicipline outwith the guidelines set by a school.

i got some severe hidings from my old man. did i deserve them? no i dont. it only made me resent him,and defy him even more. and its an old cliche but violence breeds violence.

was a c**t of kid and worse teenager, yea i tried my parents patience, and put them through a lot of shit, but his manner of dicipline was a major contibutor to my wild teen days.

especially in this day and age.there is absouletly no need to raise your hand or humilate them. take there phones or gaming systems off them that will hurt them.

i often laugh at lads saying bout getting a kick in the arse or a slap in the lug if we did wrong and if we said when we got home,we would get another one from our dad. LOL utter pish how many of you dads if someone booted your kid or hit them a slap regardless of what they were doing. you would be round there kicking up f**k!

good point, the prob is , when I was kid many moons ago lol, hitting be it, with hands+fists or cane, or as size freckin 10 trainer across your arse , and believe me that deff hurt , was really to extreme really. what happened today there no discipline what so ever to day, you gone to 2 extremes and that's the prob. Not saying you got to hit every kid out there ,because some kids just loosing there privileges will make them behave, but other kids prob need a good size 10 on the arse , it don't matter how tough you thought you were , that brought tears to your eyes .

I dont think it works or at least there are more effective methods.

We had an incident here with my little one beating up his mates at school, the school asked us to speak to him and deal with it. How could I stand there and explain to him that hitting other kids was bad if it was my way of dealing with problems at home?
