Seems like no-one even cares about her relationship with Saville ? Do people think she did'nt know ?

Before he got anywhere near her (or the royals) MI5 would have been crawling all over him.

She knew.

Of Course Thatchers knew,

Whats Folks views on this who are Thatcher Supporters ??????????????

To be honest with you big lad, that's all a bit David Icke for me.

I can't really see old Saville saying to Dennis over a casual G&T " come down to my caravan at the children's home this weekend and I will fix you up with a cracking 12 year old I know"............never gonna happen IMHO mate

I agree that the security forces would have known if they had checked but did they think it warranted a mention in national security terms at the level of information that Saville would have had access to???......I doubt it.

probably not, but it sure as hell would have been mentioned at the level thatcher had access to. kids suffered and adults are still suffering

From what I can see, and i remember bin bags piled high in the streets and blackouts, the unions and its members took the piss and got ironed out. Get over it......we lost docking along the Thames lo

So let me get this right......she single handedly closed the mines, closed the shop yards, got rid of the car industry, liberated the banks so they eventually could land us in the economical melt down

say what you like about her she was her own woman and stood by her convictions and something else about her she would never have given in to pressure like blair was and allowed the hunting ban to be p

She didnt just destroy the unions, she destroyed the peoples spirit.I did agree with some of her stances.however any good and pride she instilled in me was tainted with her cavalier attitude towards the folk she was meant to represent.

Any form of protest or critisisim was brutally slapped down.god knows how the rest of her cabinet didnt resign,oh wait there spineless greedy c**ts lol

I mean the poll tax was a shitty thing to impose on the country, and blatently to help the privellaged. get the plebs to pay for our big f**k off houses.it was unpopular before it was introduced and we all saw the scenes of rioting whenit did come into force.and to tell one part of the uk to pay for it before the rest was just sheer f*****g spitefull. If only the scots had rioted like ur english cousins did,or maybe that was her ploy.give her an excuse to send in the riot squads and impose more f*****g legislation.nothing that women did would have suprised me.

So you are saying "Wilf"? that the Security services would not have considered a serving Prime Minister of the U.K. closely associating with a rampant Paedophile a threat to security through Blackmai lor the shame such a revelation would have on Britain throughout the World???? Looks like a Mega cover up to me!

Lads I politely asked that members refrained from calling each other names a few pages back, I've cleaned the thread up because it would be a shame to lock it like the last one. Is it that hard to get your point across without resorting to playground level name calling?

Yes I agree with you Malt but one can't just stand by whilst receiving uncalled for abuse.Cheers.

I have warned the member in question because he instigated it and carried on after I put that post above. He's now on a three day suspension..

Ask any economist, the poll tax was by far a fairer tax than the council tax we now have.

The mistake Thatcher made was imposing it on the Scots first and therefore strenghtening the north/south divide.

I've worked all my days, two jobs a lot of the time and have bought a nice house from my labours, I'm taxed on the value of my house, not what I earn or the services I use. There's only me and the wife, my bin is emptied fortnightly, I stay in a dead end lane with street lights on one side of the road half of which are not lit.

Compare that with someone with six kids living in an estate filling a bin weekly and paying a percentage of what I do.

There's changes in the air and more people in the future are going to be held accountable for their own actions/decisions, you don't want to work?, you want six kids, fine, but the tighter it gets the more people will realise and see that no one is owed anything and if you want to survive you need to get off your arse and make an effort. Thatcher tried to break the reliance on the state, I actually wonder how bad some people would let it sink to before they decided to get off their arse and do something about it, to be honest I think it's too late for some.
