Born Hunter 17,909
Ashington...... is that the place that's been said to have more lurchers than people? I would imagine whoever owns the dogs will have a very good idea of those responsible. I'll put money on it being a disgruntled keeper or farmer taking the law into their own pathetic hands. I doubt the police will be able to do much with it being a shotgun. I would'nt like to be the fella who gets the fingure pointed at him after closing in the pub...... The Seeker 3,048
There's got to be a lot more to it than this, who breaks into a secure kennel armed with a shotgun to shoot a coule of dogs this seems to me like a serious warning to the owner unfortunately at the dogs expense.. marshman 7,758
Another thing that gets me is why do these vets alway seem to assume it's been used for dog fighting! I mean surely there's a difference between a wound that's been bitten and one that's been shot with a 12 bore ?

Millet 4,497
You would think they would be a huge police investigation especialy with someone who is not wired up correct running around with a scatter gun in a public place..
Paid 935
So the dogs were kept in an allotment ? Is that a common thing up there ? Seems odd you would keep your dogs away from where you stay, with no one about at night, ever ? I wonder if it was a local pissed off with the barking and whining of the dogs left there unmanned ?
