    im looking for a knife for my father as a present for looking after my 2 kids over the half term holiday while me and my Mrs have been working . It's the first time my Mrs has been working full time since the kids were born so it's been a active 2 weeks for my dad . I've always bought him pen knives before for birthdays etc but stopped short of spending much cash . Few opinels , Stanley pen knives etc but this time me and my Mrs have about 70 quid to spend on him as a thank you . Some of the knives on here are unreal, beautifully made and stunning to look at .     I'd be inclined to get a ready mix Lorry in . Doing it all by yourself will be a right pain in the Arse and back breaking unless u get a few boys in to help . Mixing , barrow then tamping down on your own for the duration will be a nightmare . Better to get it delivered , get a few mates in for a few hours to help barrow then tamp will be quicker . It will cost but if u need to have a few mates for a few days you will have to chuck them some cash aswell so might not be as expensive as you think

    Yeah the rubber I seen was sheets glued down . Probably old fashioned style . We usually cross battern the furring strips to add a bt of ventilation between the seperate joists . I don't consider you belittling fox dropper , just different experiences and opinions of what to do . Without it there would be no progress without different ideas .

    Not trying to outdo you mate but ive repaired many fibreglass roofs over the years ,cracked by the sun .There is no expansion property to fibreglass at all and from what ive seen it crazes then leaks after a few years .There are new products on the market now more suited to expansion contraction as found on an exposed roof .The price for any of this covering will be by the m2 so shop about . You may be right , I'm no expert on fibre glass just done roofs ready for them . The bloke gave a 10 year warranty so I'm assuming he knew his stuff .     A friend has been trapping squirrels and giving them to me recently . He has 2 in his outside shed killed yesterday morning . Either way I have a use for them but is it safe or good for me to skin/gut them tonight to be put in freezer for eating? How long after death is it reasonable to use them for eating when their still intact

    We have prepared plenty of roofs for a fibre glass guy . Generally we get the job . Sure up the roof , do the furring strips and boarding ready for him to come in and fibre glass . He tells us to use OSB boards as he gets better adhesion to them than ply . All wood materials are taken care of in our quote so he's not skimming any money by charging for ply and paying for OSB . What we've started doing is along the gutter edge and any area that has run off if take a router to the edge 3 or 4" in (depending on size of their edging) about 2 MM deep so that the edgings sit into it .     Can't fault my bin men . Regularly put 10 bin bags out occasional weeks when it's supposed to be 4 . My boss bags up off cut plasterboard to add to his household and never gets a complaint

    No good if shot. Snaring is the best way to keep a pelt good but when I used to sell a few I had a lurcher bitch that would pin them down by the cheek and she never put a hole in them, nor ever got a hole put in herself either for that matter.that makes sense . Didn't think of the bullet hole

    Now that was some top class parenting Kay, hats off to you bet your lad has grown into a fine gentleman I f****d up a million times in my life but i think he is the only thing I got right. .. he became a dad 11 days ago & has opened one of them isa things for a house deposit I must admit I am very proud of him , the lad came good after me & his father split up... he has had work since he was 15 & passed his driving test , I think having 2 strong male figures in his life in granddads kept him on the right path ... anyway enough rambling from me ... here's me little grandson Et

    The sad thing for the girl is her reputation is now ruined for life unfortunately . Could have done with Adam Johnson being a role model to her and steering her away from making a mistake which will follow her around for years rather than thinking of getting his hands on her
