  1. Your trying to cut off the headache by cutting off the head !.............Surely its better to stop the headache before it starts ? Whats better........giving someone a 1000 pound fine after their dog attacks someone/something........or making them pay 300 pound as an insurance premium ? You say " dont they harm us enough taking far too much off us "............nobody is forced to own a dog same as nobody is forced to own a car.............if you want these things you pay for them..........if you dont you dont its not rocket science. I'll be honest I'm surprised you are advocating breed

  6. Anyone who is prepared to do the long walk to a suspect device is a hero in my book. I have the upmost respect for all involved in CIED work. Did you know Lisa? Or did you only become aware of her existence after her death? However, no she wasn't front line. According to current British Military policy females are non permitted to serve in front line combat roles, with the exception of the Army Air Corps. Lisa was a Captain in the Royal Logistic Corps. They aren't front line. In this respect she was no different to Captain Dan Read, or Staff Sergeant Olaf Schmitt.
  7. A female Royal Logistic Corps officer? Well, she definitely wasn't front line, so by morton's logic, she is undeserving of respect and recognition, same as Captain Dan Read. And Private Andrew Cutts was a driver in the Royal Logistic Corps. He was shot dead whilst doing the easy and risk free job of 'supplying, arming, feeding and looking after' the lads at the sharp end. Definitely someone who just talks the talk there. Don't forget about Marine Crooks, he was a reservist killed on his 3rd tour ofAfghanistan. A complete Chocolate fire guard. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-1067867
  8. I'm retraining so I can have a career change at the minute. Luckily I have a Class 1 licence so I can support myself at the same time. Got a few properties on thego, but it's no where near as glam as it sounds...the tenants just about cover the mortgages. However, in 20 years time when those mortgages are paid off, I will be able to enjoy a comfortable retirement secure in the knowledge that I am not reliant on a dodgy pension fund. I'm pretty sure that there won't be a state pension by the time I reach retirement age, whatever the Government decide it will be for me (probably 75+).
  9. Agree I gone off on a tangent but it was a couple of Scots thoughts that I thought was odd and I like to ask why his views is that OK ??? O its that freedom of speech shit you can have it on THL so long as you agree with certain members And Morton on one final note who the Fook do you think the guys/gals get to frontline and supplied etc etc all on there own . Theres a massive chain and without any part of the chain the frontline taking the dirty shitty end of the conflict may as well turn up in flip flops and water pistols . Yes there massive diffrent degrees of risk and you c
  10. Smart set up mate. If you have space, get a couple of geese. Not bad watch animals, and they go for some cash at Christmas. Very tasty eggs as well.
  11. I think they easier personally Ive both hens and ducks and prefer my ducks Ducks need water. Running is better as it doesn't get as dirty. They will quickly turn an area of grass kno a muddy mess.
  12. They will have imprinted on you. I had one as a lad which would follow me bout th village. You may find that the drakes don't breed well. This is because they look to mate with one thing which looks I liar to their mother. I had a drake which was hatched under. Broody hen. He was a twat for drowning hens when trying to mate them...
  13. That's a bit personal isn't it? Apologies, no offence meant. 'I withdraw the question your Honour.'
  14. Rosette hunter lol. Did you see my sister with my black smooth haired bitch?
  15. Outlaw Pete, are you Ditchshitter?
  16. I've bought two sets of galvanized kennel runs. the first lot were from Tolvi. There were issues with delivery (it was 6 weeks late) and when the items finally arrived some were damaged. The second lot were from Ultra Kennel. I collected these on a pre-arranged day. I found the manager/owner to be helpful and customer service was good. The panels were of a similar quality to the ones I got from Tolvi. I recommend Ultra Kennel http://www.ultrakennels.co.uk/dog-run-panels-c-51.html.
  17. They are all ranks, not just Officers. Officers and men are taken from across the Army, not just from Para Reg. During the HERRICK 8 deployment (which this documentary is talking about) the Ops Officer of PF was originally Royal Regiment of Scotland. After a 2 year tour officers will normally return to their parent unit. Other ranks may stay for longer but will eventually return to their parent unit. It is often used as a staging post to Special Forces.

  19. No never done any samworths stuff. Main clients are Malcolms and various DHL contracts... Now that you have said that, I can't stop seeing f***ing Samworth lorries on the road. Food work is it? I did a couple of shifts for Iceland Swindon when I first moved down here. £9.50/hour no matter what time of the day or night. I hate pushing cages about, they always seem to topple on me...
