  1. There is an irish lad on the stalking directory who is training an airedale for blood trailling deer.
  2. Its a fake http://www.barenakedislam.com/2012/09/21/bni-response-to-the-viral-email-re-islam-and-japan/
  3. The original attack happened in 2003. No body was convicted of his murder, although several people were convicted of public disorder offences, with sentences of 9-21 months. Not much for a racially motivated murder is it? http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/local-news/jury-clear-youth-of-hopley-murder-1158116
  4. http://www.langholmproject.com/index.html Read through that at your leisure.
  5. I'd be up for it but never see any vacancies or anything to apply, i'll have a Google and see what comes up cheers If you get really stuck, and are prepared to move to a different part of the country, drop me a PM. Ill see if I can sort something out for you...
  6. What about HGV driving generally? There is a shortage of drivers in the North Eas (something like 1200). Some companies will offer training as part of the contract. The money with them wont be great (£18-25k) but once you have done your minimum time with them then you can shop around for a better deal.

  8. If you don't get the job, and you are healthy with no recent convictions, get down the Army recruiting office and join the TA RLC as a driver. They will put you through your HGV Class 1. Once qualified you can work for an agency. Flexible hours and a good hourly rate. It is not something that you might want to do forever, but gives you some cash whilst you work out what it is you want to do...
  9. Why don't we all go and live in caves and throw our shit at each other? Dumb c**t. Hmm, sarcasm doesn't work very well over the internet... The Royale Island Wolves and Moose populations have been free of human interference since the 1950s. Far from finding a balance, the populations have experienced several dramatic peaks and troughs. This is what happens to natural populations. There was a thread some time ago on the Stalking Directory (already mentioned) about a park in the Netherlands. There are no apex predators, and no culling. The populations of large herbivores
  10. I agree with Lurcher1 and Baw. There should never be any lethal control of these re-introduced apex predators under any circumstances, certainly not to protect profits which are made off non-native species. In fact, the introduction of apex predators should continue throughout the UK. I can see it now, wolf packs being introduced to England. They could control the numbers of deer, and would be really nice for people to see. It does not matter if they kill and fallow, sika, muntjac or chinese water deer, as these are all non-native species introduced for sporting purposes. Sheep a
  11. Who is currently first and second?
  12. Devolution. Its happened in Scotland already, that's how Alex Salmond got power!
  13. HGV Class 1 Agency work is always good. Or start your own dog walking business.
  14. If you want to clear a small holding, pigs might be a better bet. Where abouts are you?
  15. Don't know about picking up from their yard, but delivery will be weeks or even months behind the promised dates. The £1500 worth of galvinised runs I had off them were 6 weeks late. Google the company name, there are many many other horror stories on the internet.
  16. Last 1. Will take some better ones in the sun tomorrow (assuming we get any). Though, these were taken a couple of weeks ago, so he is starting to look a bit less smart...
  17. A slightly less blurry one (Paulus would be proud)
  18. Was a bit bored at home the other day, so hand stripped my beddy whippet (possibly a bit of grey in there too? Im not sure of exact breeding). Took me about 6 1/2 hrs (or 13 episodes of The Mitchell and Webb Look) Before .
  19. Unfortunately they weren't found guilty of anything. The breeder was suing them in civil court, but they reached an out of court settlement. Not quite an admission of guilt, but a good result non the less.
  20. Found it. Nice one http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-foyle-west-22611352
  21. Darswed Teckels (http://www.darswedteckels.co.uk/charletansdarswednimrod.htm) in Northumberland seem to be good dogs, based on the Youtude vids they put up. I haven't seen the dogs work in person though. They are used for blood trailing rather than bushing as well. But they have 2 dogs at stud. They may well be expensive and/or adverse to putting them over anything that isn't a teckel...If he is after a dog to drive game, a more recent continental import maybe more suitable. Or if distance truly isn't an issue, taking the bitch to a dog used to drive game on the continent would be even be
