They were a nuisance up there 10 yrs ago.... Knocking around for permission for rabbits.... few old boys let us on,and mentioned them,they not wanted from what I gathered -

Ive got a squirrel feeder,that I put out on the forest side of Hadnock,if im up there for more than a day or 2,have a few hrs with the airgun , could get good numbers ,but last few times ive been , I aint seen a squirrel ...plenty of everything else though,will have to put a trailcamera on it next time Im up there,bait it up..and see what's occurring -

You sound very similar to me ,I will quite happily,cut off my nose,to spite my face ..so to speak Stick to your guns mate...and tell them 2 friends of yours,too tuck their teeth into their waistbands and dont bite the hand that feeds them....if they chirp up...put one on them

Cheers Tomo, horrible time to lose a loved one,I was brought up by my Nana...and we lost her Xmas Eve 2003....mother in law fell xmas eve and passed on the 8th...same day I buried my Nan... Hated xmas for yrs....only got better when my kids came into the world

We just had a little drive around after visiting the chapel of rest...been 30 odd yrs since my Mrs has been back up there.. stopped outside her childhood home that her Dad built from a wreck,both her Nana's and Gramps places,Aunts and Uncles, cousins etc..all the places she played as a kid...its a beautiful part of the world...when the sun's shining mate, theres still a strong sense of community spirit there...that you dont get anymore ... putting her mother in a grave next to a motorway in Thornhill didn't feel right..so shes going back to God's Country

Thank you mate...still hasnt sunk in....one minute we was redecorating and building new furniture for her to come live with us....Then in the space of 4 hrs she had passed away .. she's at peace now,no more suffering..R.IP. Yvonne,gone but never to be forgotten
