  1. I am taking it to work on the farm tomorrow to zero in the long shed with lights so I am sure to get some time in even if it's raining.
  2. Very nice couple of rifles you got there buddy , not that i'm jealous !!!! Hello Merlin Don't be as just to have one is a thing to behold. I hear voices and the hw77 said to me go out and get me some friends to keep me company.
  3. To say I am pleased is an understatement. The walnut has some nice grain and has a nice new dull lustre. .22 kt to go with my .177 fsb sporter.
  4. The only way you can be sure is to get a .177 and then get a .22 to go with it.
  5. Nice. How many of you went back for a second look lol.
  6. Well there you go, a thing to behold and a great rifle to top it off. Happy new rifle.
  7. Don't like the look of them, then buy a spud gun LOL only joking. They are like VW cars, not much to look at but are quality items. A mate just got an Air Arms 510 ultimate sporter laminate stock etc and it looks fantastic but I would not swap it for my Hw100 fsb.
  8. I know LOL I will have to get on it, no pic's and it didn't happen.
  9. Sorry I am not up to speed with the photo posting, I will have to get it sorted.
  10. I have noticed that the HW's seem to be hot sellers on the second hand market but know the Walther and AA are great rifles.
  11. I have added two more rifles to the team and have been plugging away at dinner times and after work at the farm every day. First with the hw100 fsb and then with the hw98 and have almost gone through two tins of 500 RWS superdomes. The more I shoot the better I am getting but will be back with .22 as soon as I get scoped up and it may sound daft but I am missing the .22.
  12. Don't rush in, I used a really old HW97 from a friend for ages and I went to every shop in my area and tried out all my short list which was aa pro sport, TX, 97 77 95 99 and ended up with a 77k ,95k, 98 sfs, and a 100, think my next one may be an IMP. I thought £150 would get me away but am well past that now LOL.
  13. I just keep using my rifle every day if I can and take it to work every day working on the farm which helps. I am a carpenter/joiner and to turn out a good job we use the force and I do the same when I shoot. If you will the pellet to go into the same hole as the last one it will......well the hole does get a bit bigger LOL. I am not saying that I am a good shot but I am a trier and the say practice makes perfect so I keep at it.
  14. When I am waiting for the next batch of pigeons to land on the grain dryer it can take a while and some times I walk to the other end of the barn that I use as a hide and fire it into the back field as I don't like to keep it cocked for a long time. It may well be fine but I don't like to leave the spring compressed.
  15. Good quality and creamy.
  16. Zim your dog is laughing at me, please tell him to stop.
  17. One of the shooters on the farm has just bought a Weihrauch .22 pistol just for the fun of it and says he used to shoot flies with a pistol when he was a lad. Happy days. Don't no if it's a tall story LOL but it made me laugh any way.
  18. I don't know but when I pace out a distance I am never sure if it's a yard or a metre lol.
  19. HW95k in .22 with cs500 sporter stock and a drop in kit. or an IMP
  20. Hello, how you doing. I like H&N ftt but are never in stock so I use RWS superdome's in .177 and in .22 and they suit all my rifles. By the way Cotswolds, what a shit hole.lol
  21. Took the SFS hw98 in the long shed that has lights after work and put some pellets through it. The 95 was great and I would have another one tuned in the fullness of time but for now all I can say is that the SFS hw98 is very very very creamy in fact double whipped cream.
  22. It's all good chit chat, having.177 and .22 I wonder if I should try one of them .303's LOL.
