Thanks for that Chris both my 100kt and my 100fsb have 222mm cylinders. I have just looked at the 100fsb and there is room for 350mm and that leaves room for a silencer when I get one. regards Mike.

Nice one, it was wet and windy in Redcar today but I was fitting gutters to a house and thinking about shooting at the same time.
-
That's not bad, I wanted a long but a FSB sporter cropped up local that had not been used much cos he had a lot of rifles and once I handled it I had to have it. There looks like there may be enough room to fit one. How long is the cylinder ? Can't afford one just yet but it's good to know what fits for when I can. I am short of a scope for my 77 first.

My first couple seem good and then I have a flyer and the tighten up. There is a special term to describe it and it's called ( crap Redcar shooter syndrome ) LOL.

Hello Jonnie I think mixing with other shooter would be good for me so I should find a club to join. I have noticed a slight pull to the left and have seen that when I plug loads of pellets into the same target. I think I loose discipline if I plug away with my springer. I have some- ware to shoot but it gets a bit boring by my self.

How many shots do you get out of the A&M cylinder Chris. Smart looking rifle.

Like the sound of the barn to shoot in,is it lit and can you go whenever you like,on your break, after work or whatever? Hello random Yes I can pop in there as you say when the mood takes me which is almost every day. I am going to make or get some bell targets to make it a bit more interesting and yes there are long lines of strip lighting. It is good for comparing different rifles, thing is I can't find one of the four that I don't like.

I am working a lot at the moment and some weekends but it is a pheasant shoot farm with 3 full time keepers and they don't like night time movement on the land in shooting season. This still leaves me all the barn areas but most of the barns are half full of grain and the others are full of beasts that are in from the fields. the pigeons are that full of grain that they don't hang around for that last feed. The up side of things are that the grain will all be gone soon and them pleasant pluckers will be gone before we know it. There is a 30 mtr barn at the top farm that gets used for tractor

In General Is A 22 Springer Shot Cycle Nicer?
VWman replied to Newlife2's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Yes my .177 hw98 feels like this. -
My combro works fine and I had a new rifle go over and the shop chrono showed the same. Zim I can only get out to 30 mtrs with my back to shed wall standing resting and when I get all the group through the raggy hole where the bull was in the paper target I will then increase the distance another 10 to 15 mtrs and if I can get them all in the bull then that will be good enough for me with my break barrel springer. I started off using H&N field target trophy and the work real well for me but found them expensive and hard to find so I went onto RWS super dome and find they work very well

In General Is A 22 Springer Shot Cycle Nicer?

Hello there As a matter of interest what power are your rifles over there as most of us over here are sub 12 ft lbs, if we want more power the have to be a registered fire arm. If you are on sub 12 pound guns I will tell you what I think I know, I say this because there are some real clever lads on here of which I am too new to be one of them. Here goes. I think the Hw twenty two's that I have used and owned HW97/77/95 and have all been full power and fire sweet because they are not working hard to meet the power requirments of almost 12 ft lbs. .177 use a smaller lighter pellet and requi -
My mate has my HW95k and he loves it as much as I did but it was a twenty two. There is a very good chance that I will have another one in the new year but it will be a hand built one with a custom sporter stock.
-
Well Mark I got the 100 fsb sporter in .177 and love it. I have a hw89 in .177 which I was using tonight and the pellets go where you tell them to go and I like shooting .177 but at 50 pluss I am a twenty two man at heart. The hw77 22 thud and the hw100 kt silent thud and I just love it but it could all just be in my mind and would never try to get some one to have a twenty two in a 100 they would have to want one. I think twenty two is that bit sweeter to shoot in springers, kind of lazy creamy shooters.
-
If it helps you I have both .177 and .22 hw100 and they are both as good as each other so go with the .177 if that's what you are used to using and don't look back just settle down and have fun using it. There are that many people using them so why not. Some people are 22 guys and would not have it any other way that don't mean the 177 is no good. I always go with my gut feeling.

Neat package in that soft case, I will have to find one like that for my MK4. Have to say it looks more up market, wonder if they are made better.
-
By the way Mac we use the other finger in Redcar when we are ordering one pint.
-
Yes the weather has been crap today and I have been working out side getting piss wet through but my link to shooting is that I have converted another mate to air rifles and he is a shot gun guy so that is a double whammy in my book. He is thinking about a HW springer as he has tried my 77.
-
Is that the one that moves back in the stock ?
-
Glad that is cleared up you tossers, I mean TWATS.
-
I will look that one up, it must be good for it to be your choice.
-
I am pleased it sold as a package, it's better for you and nice for it not to be split up. Hope all goes as well as it can for you. Regards Mike.

This is exactly what I mean about these new uns' posting the most random stuff... Its all turning a bit soft this Airgun section A little like the 'Don't know why "thread ... Don't you think ?. That's a good point Rez What do you say to that. New one's on the forum, how dare they ? What's it like on that high moral ground that you live on or should I say shoot on. You have a lot to give to new ones but they will not ask the question if you just try to shoot them down ! Forums should be for like minded people to share what they know and have a bit of chit chat into the bargain y

Easy he uses a spear gun 22 cal  Yes one of them hw ones, thing is he needs it to shoot a long way so he should have got a 177 one lol.
-
That FWB 300s looks real nice. My choice would be a springer in .22 and it would be a custom light weight break barrel but not sure which one yet but the short list is hw95k short new type with all the tune and stock etc or the hw99 full stage 3 and stock.

All these expensive sounding pellets, I just use them cheep rws super dome jobs.
