Zim are you sure about being on top of it at 45 mtrs ? have you used a tape or range finder to check that out. I asked a question regarding distance that a hw100 in 22 and 177 and said what would happen if I kept moving the targets out 40/50/60 yards would one or the other give up as the target were moved out. Well Zim all I can say is that they were a bit upset to say the least. I was shaking the tree to find out about the legend that is the hw100. In the passage of time and with the help of the forum I now no what is possible and what practical and safe. A mate who is looking to get into

I used my 177 hw100fsb on Tuesday night in the long shed and it was fantastic, I shredded loads of targets for fun. Tonight I used my hw100kt 22 same as above.......creamy. I never once thought that I wished I had got a Daystate but if I had got a daystate I am certain that I would be wishing I had got a 100.

If you are only going to do target shooting you could consider a single shot but why ?. I got a single shot mag with my hw100fsb sporter and also two 14 shot mags. I am going to stick my neck out here and say that daystates are for people who have a fair bit of cash and have had all the top rifles and just fancy one and they look fantastic. Hw100 will do what it says on the tin and then some it's a very safe bet. If I thought there was a better rifle I would of bought it.

Looks good, is it as light as a hw99. If so I will have one.

Hello Matty I am very sorry to hear your bad news. I hope it sells as a full kit but if not and it helps I would have the mod and the bi pod. regards Mike.

Thanks yeah im not too bad with common sense (most of the time i am a man after all) Yeah i really want the Weihrauch HW100 FSB not sure what the "K" or Carbine options are i think i want the full stock not the thumbhole but not sure The Hw100 is a great choice but do a bit of looking at all the types. I have a 100fsb sporter and I think it looks cool as but..... A little bit of info for you. .22 long will give you the most shots per fill Get the stock that you like and if you can be selective with the walnut they all look different. carbide/ short are very pointable but some

Bsa super meteor .22 in the 70's. I was at a mates house on Monday night and I seen one sat on two nails tapped into the rafters. I am going back tomorrow night to clean it up for him.

It's not a question that I have a vested interest in, it's a bit of chit chat. Not every body on here has been on this forum as long as you. I have not seen this topic this year unless I have missed it. I hope it was a springer and not a pcp.
-
How do you do that then I can only see a google search at the top. Not every one works with computers MR clever.
-
Well the dog is still laughing, is she laughing at the group or at me because I can't see the group.

If you could only have one air rifle, what would it be. If all your rifles had to go but were replaced by one air rifle at no cost to you but that one rifle has to do all the things that all your other rifles do. ? It can be a custom.
-
That is a very nice collection of rifles you have there buddy , no springers for me ..only the 3 pcp's .. Suppose we are all different and that's what makes the world go around. There is no perfect combo that suits all people. I am one short of my team and that is going to be another Sandwell field sport custom light weight break barrel weihrauch springer. A 99 short barrel 22 or a 95 stage 3 light.
-
Yes I have wanted one for a long time but a friend has one and it takes half a life time to get one lol.

I ended up in the long shed after work to get out of that wind and rain, after I got dried out by the wood burner and had a coffee out of me flask I was ready for a good plink with the 100 fsb. I got through 3 fills and loads of .177 pellets, tins and targets happy days. It's quieter than the 98 but loader than the 100kt .22. Spoiled for choice but need a custom light weight break barrel to top off quite a good team. hw77.22/hw98.177hw100fsb.177sporter and hw100kt.22.
-
And is the best under lever choice with an imp for the light weight tasks.....happy days.......do you want to sell me your imp LOL.
-
If you want an AA tx200 look in Free adds and put your area in and it will show you the closest ones.
-
Yes Mark that is the way I would go but I could not convince my mate, he insisted in having my nice just run in HW95 so I hade to go out and get a SFS HW98 in .177 to replace it. I was gutted after he took it then the 98 came up a few days later and all is well in the world. Well almost, I think I need an imp.

Most of it is just common sense. Keep your rifles locked in a warm room where your wife can't see them. Don't get on the buss with your diver bottle, not sure if it's against the law but it's not very cool. Transport your rifle in a gun slip but not loaded as you may shoot yourself in the bum. Never get your rifle out in a public place or people may think you are going to shoot them........It's all common sense really LOL The main thing is save loads of money and get a weihrauch. Good luck.

where abouts in the north east ? It you google second hand air rifles you will see Free adds. Check out the prices.
-
I could narrow that down to hw97 or HW95k
-
Yes Jonnie I was thinking light , medium and heavy..... 99-----95----. Phil don't let him be put off by break barrel HW's. I have used the 95 most of this year but also have an under lever hw77 as well. You can get a 99 custom called an IMP by Sandwell Field Sports but you have to order them. If you like the standard 99 the imp is a cut down one that is pimped up.

Hello Rez There is a dedicated silencer with a 1/2 inch male thread on the end of it, 185mm long. I have seen a male to male adapter that lets you use a regular silencer but not sure which works the best.
