  1. I'm not Paulus and I know what the agreement is about. And it is not power or control. Nothing is taken from member state's ability to make their own decisions. If that is incorrect then please quote the relevant information.
  2. Or, possibly someone quotes a report without actually bothering to read it? Seems to happen quite a lot on here. Anyway, don't worry about the WHO taking over the country. Its the St John's Abulance Brigade you really need to keep an eye on. They have increased numbers of their paramilitary wing ready for their own bid for world domination. ?
  3. Its all in your imagination. Nothing to see, move on. But while we are at it; I am disappointed, but not surprised to see no responses to Charts post on the possible misinterpretation of the covid jab data. That seems to have blown through like tumbleweed.
  4. Claims of a WHO globalist takeover are out of this world WWW.AAP.COM.AU A post claims proposed amendments would give the UN health agency power over governments to impose lockdowns.
  5. Absolute and utter bollox. You've been reading Scottie's comics again ?
  6. Trying, if indeed they did try, which I doubt, does not make them power hungry dictators as you claimed. Advisors - yes. Dictators - no.
  7. They are an NGO and as such don't have any power and cannot dictate anything to any country. But don't let thst spoil your opinion.
  8. Or possibly the vaccination program has had something to do with it. You can't always cover all bases and there will always be the 20/20 hindsight brigade circling like jackals to feed on any bad news.
  9. Except that experts in WHO and Science magazine and others dispute that herd immunity can be achieved by letting infections run its course.
  10. He'll have sent it to Father Christmas by mistake. That's how come it got sorted.
  11. So how come that God gets all the credit for the nice stuff?
  12. I think it actually says that the sound of David's triumph was heard all around the land. I grew up thinking that he had a Bonneville.
  13. Tell that to the masses outside the Vatican when the top wallah is on the balcony.
  14. As has been said; that is assuming that you believe in God, and other God's are available.
  15. Most Religions are all about controlling the masses and extorting wealth from them. Getting you into their sect and keeping you there by a combination of promises and threats. There are hundreds of religions. They can't all be right about theirs being the true path. And there hve been many un-Godly acts carried out in the name of religion. Hypocricy is rife. There were comments about King Charles not distributing more of his cash to the poor yet the Pope is worth far more and I don't see much of that being used to house the homeless.
  16. An afternoon session on the Charente. 10 foot cane rod, centrepin and sliding float. Used up last weeks maggots and worms for three bream. Bit of a tight swim, four foot above the water line. It is 12 foot deep a rod length out and I just drop the float that sort of distance making sure there is enough line coming off the reel to allow the full depth to be reached. First bream was the smallest and didn't put up much of a fight. The other two were bigger and used the current to their advantage.
  17. It would be a pretty rare and strange survey if only 8 out of a 40,000 sample received one of the two options. Let alone all 8 catching covid after being jabbed. But I'm sure there will be an implausible explanation put forward to cover it.
  18. Just finished off the last glass of Jim Beam honey whiskey that was given to me 2 Christmases ago by a grateful customer. Just got last year's present of spiced rum and this year's honey whiskey left to go at. If I get another bottle next Christmas before I pack up I'll be sorted for alcohol until almost 5 years. The chocolates haven't lasted the distance though.
  19. Has anybody ever been thrown off land for mole trapping without permision? That could be the way forward. When the farmer comes over to see what you are doing just tell him that you are mole trapping. If he asks what the 12g SxS is for tell him you use it to to dispatch wounded moles. If he asks what the lurcher is for tell him you use it to catch any runners when you lift your traps. Same with the ferret. That's used to drive moles into the traps.
  20. That's how I got one of my first permissions. I had been poaching the land for ages when one of the tennants asked me to clear some rabbits from the veg plot at his tied cottage. He was the squire's cow man. After I'd ferreted the sets he told me that Mr. Elmhirst, the squire, wanted to see me so I walked down to his farm expecting to get a bollocking. Instead of a bollocking he said that he had realised that he couldn't keep me off the land so he might as well get some use out of the situation. He set me on to clear some pastures and from that rats in barns, pigeons........ Proper old scho
  21. No, I'm not ready yet. And it is a bit remote at the top of the hill. No idea how they got the grave dug in solid rock. He must have been an important figure.
  22. I came across this grave in a church yard in southern France that was a stronghold for the Knights Templars Got to be around the 13th century.
  23. I've had a few instances where bait has been taken from boxed mouse traps without any caught. I modified the traps to fill in a void that the mice seemed to be using rather than going over the treadle. The rounded profile of the lid creates a gap above the side wall of the ramp leading to the trap.
