Got the same thing with my 10 month old pup. Carries the rabbit away from me though. So im interested in how to try fix this also.

yeah, hes looking promising so far. was clueless with my first dog so alot more efforts going into him. yeah its just with the grooves on the pickup bed plastic splaying his toes apart.

hes only 8 months, still a young pup. jst under 26tts. hes a saluki bull collie grey put back to saluki grey. got him off here from a lad down south wales. made the 14 hour trip to pic him up worth it tonight. thats him at 6 months in the pic with my wee bull whippet bitch

My pup got his first couple tonight. been out twice with him already and struggled to get him runs close to home. well happy with him tonight. always does as he is told aswell. bit more work on his jumping is needed still though. he caught my first black rabbit too.

its the same where i am, been out a few times in last few weeks with my pup to local bits and struggle to even get a run. everything is lamp shy already too so its not been great trying to start my pup. will need to start travelling.

just started having problems with mine with sheep. been working in amongst sheep for 2 seasons and bow just started chasing. been out with shock collar n seems to be making a difference. fixed her non existent recall when lamping. so hopefully it will work for your dog. just got to pick the right time to press the button.

ive just recently built mine. shiplap on the outside with vapour barrier, glass wool isulation and 9mm osb inside. got a heater in it on a thermostat buts its never on as the dogs body heat have it toastie in no time. double glazed window in it with the plastic flaps at the front. run is out of 4x2 decking material with holes drilled up n down with metal conduit as the bars

I had to pay the vat on it also? which i never thought about. Once customs released it i got lettered from parcel force to say i had to pay the vat. ended up i could have bought it cheaper here. lesson learned there. hopefully its worth the money. using it as an aid for when out lamping with the dog. help to get close to lamp shy buggers.

I got it sorted. Sent them an email stating thst it can be purchased in this country and isnt in the least a firearm. the replied with an apology and stated there is noting in my package that breaks inport law and will be delivered tomorrow now. ?

I recently bought a leupold tracker thermal monocular from the states. Ive recieved a letter in this morning from customs saying they are seizing it as there classing it as a firearm. has anyone had any problems like this before?

Put them out today, Took all advise on board, radio in, nice comfy bed n kennels all insulated so nice and warm. over fed today and plenty raw meat today aswell. there out there quiet as mice now. Once the mrs gets in from work and can look after my mini me i will get them out with the bike and get them tired.

I wont put them back in until it finished then. Insulation getting done tomorrow and there will be a thermostatic heater going in once the electrics are done. Will stick a radio in aswell. Going for a raised bed with foam then vet bed ontop. She does feel the cold so that's probably whats wrong. will just let her adjust over time then. Whining doesn't bother me as cant hear it when in the house with tv on but dont want to annoy the neighbours. All there dogs bark though ?

Im moving my dogs outside into a kennel and run. They have been out today for a bit but kennels not completely finished yet so wont be out at night. My question is how do you stop a bitch from whining. My pup has just went inside, lay down nice and quiet. my 3 year old bitch is just stanfing whining. was skooting her with the hose but now she sees me n goes inside the kennel. changed to filling a pint glass but that only worked once n she was away inside. ive read the bark collars might not work for whining. was thinking of getting the citronella spray one. Anyone any suggestions or done somet

i know the feeling. i'll be ordering rest of materials for mine tomorrow to get it finished. packed my job in to start a new one and never got paid for 7 weeks so kennel came to a stand still. cant wait to get the dogs outside! especially the pup, dont want it chewing my new kitchen to bits like the last one ?

Cant beat new ground. I just got another 200 odd acres 15 mins from my house last week and found another bit even closer that shouldnt be a problem getting permission. hedge is due falling over theres do many holes below it.

get from good working parents and it will increase your chances of having a good working dog. then its all about you putting the time in and entering correctly. dont rush it! going by what ive read on here for a good first dog for what your looking for woukd be a beddy whippet or a beggy whippet grey. all the best
