  5. To be fair you don't want to feed to much maize. I get a lot of people come to ours and say we feed mixed corn. It's wrong , If you feed too much maize it will make your birds fat, just give them whole wheat it's just a scratch feed before they roost up at night, maybe a little maize when it's cold but not to much. I know it's a different kettle of fish for the game birds, but your average bantam does not need a high fat diet. There's plenty of info if you look online about it. Atb

  7. My patterdale eye went cloudy when he searched it, the vets just prescribed some eye drops I think you can buy them in the chemist. Cleared up in no time. Hope he's ok!! Atb

  15. We breed and sell 1000s of birds every year ivermectin 0.08% worked better and cheaper than any other treatment and it's not even prescribed for poultry they drop off immediately. Creosote your shed once a year and keep up to date with your ivermectin you won't go wrong at all. Atb

  18. I've used ivermectin on my birds and it 100% works. We bought it as a goat wormer but if you put a few drops on the neck of your birds the mites will fall off really quick. Me and my wife were shocked how well it worked. Atb

  20. They've both got there good points. Either for me just however I'm feeling. Also once you've watched a DVD that's pretty much it but with a book a book you can always go back a read bits over and over again! Atb
