    Woods mate or the edable posh versions. Don't have a proper working farm perm for ferals, it's on the list to sort out this year. I've told a little white lie to be honest. The land owners asked me to deeeek some of the birds that are already thieving his young peas. So I'm under orders. It dawned on me, again, that our landowners have it good. They'd normally pay some one to sort that out... no wonder he's consistently telling me what's causing a problem. It's a good service... and free. F'sake.

    I set up shop along the far edge. Again, a few came out, but for some reason, I wasn't in the mood, more research I guess. Then I moved up to a concrete building that I have no idea what its used for... there is a large warren underneath. The two that came out here, didn't get let off so easy. 1 half of the bag. Bangin day out. Got home late. In the dog house. Going to get her vino. Now. In other news, think the rapid might be in retirement for the summer [Only the summer Mark ]. HM is getting new glass on Tuesday and will be my new pickup.

    As most of you will have probably done, I went out this evening with the weather being pretty boss. After rabbits for the first time this year. Not 'that' many about to be honest, saw 8 or 9. Managed to bag 2, gave one to the land owner on my leaving, so you'll only see one, the smaller one... Damn it. But to be fair, Im not really in a position to argue with him Wasn't really about getting a big old haul I dont think, more 'recon' like perhaps what Mr Williams would do.     On a serious note, I'd of gave over 900-1000 of the queens beans for that.I had it sold for £850 but it never materialised so I ended up breaking it mate. It was a sad day I'll tell you Right.     Obviously lost the nack of fieldcraft... Bloody ticket. v'man You can shoot game at FAC distances anyway... I've regularly seen your post of rabbits out to 60 plus yards. Those little pellets ain't going much further to be honest, even at 25-30 FPE. Unless your wanting it to pick off burkas in town...

    Yep. Do it. Just to see if we can make this happen. Jesus. Registering a shot on a combi at 30 yards... I actually dont think its possible logistically... press the button, leg it back, take the shot, the sodding thing will have turned itself off by the time I get back to the rifle.

    Thats a great idea to be honest to perhaps make this happen... a small steel plate with a hole cut for the pellet and we'll see if it registers.

    Hmmmm. They do. Isn't leapers a Yank brand though? I don't know, should really research it but I haven't.

    It's the other way round mate. The larger pellet doesn't drop them as quick as the lighter pellet.
