    Quick foray out with me 98. Had to get back to watch England on telly. Getting there with her. Accurate. Usual place. Got 3, lost one to a f'kin stoat or mink of somesort, theres a small brook running down on edge of the tree line and Ive seen one before. The little shit. Hopin around like a mad thing... Next time Ill wing a pellet over and see how that goes down. Managed to drag me bird off before I could get to it though.

    Just v-mached me 98. To my surprise, after a tin, was way low at 9.8. I'm using hunters mind at 10.6gn. One washer, 10.5 with the hunters now. Got a text from the pigeons just yesterday... "we've moved on"

    So. Is a shooter of a un tuned spring rifle... a better shot than one with a uber tuned one? This perhaps brings up what 'is a good shot'... so is a good shot one that can shoot any rifle as well as any other? One that can shoot a utter shed of a rifle well? Or a FT champion with a monster of a 77 that's liquid smooth. To me, a great shot, is one that shoots a utter shed of a rifle bang on... imagine, the rifle kicks like a mule but the shooter is "good enough" to control all that movement and extract accuracy from it. Hence, why I think, a shooter of a standard spring rifle,

    Is a shooter of a standard recoiling HW97 (for example) a better shot than a shooter of a tuned HW97? (For example) It dawned on me a bit when I watched a uber tuned 97 on YouTube... this thing did not move. It is literally the holy grail. But, why own such a tuned springer airrifle, when I can shoot a PCP? Is springer tuning on the high end level blurring the lines between PCP and a spring? Ya have to answer quick, admins will be along soon thinking it's a shit joke, sort it as 'locked', but secretly mean 'pinned' And actually delete it. Shame.

    I've found most stock ambi really. Annoyingly I'm left eye dominant but right handed. I've often found it's not actually around the cheek piece that's the problem, it's the pistol grip. Apart from say the pro sport wood, generally most stocks are ambi or can be shot either way. The CS or any custom stocks don't really count, as they bought as retro fit I suppose.
