As an edit, I cant edit the same post for some reason. I think thats what makes spring air rifle shooting so good. Its that connection with the rifle that owners have. A bond. I couldn't shoot anyone else's 97 the way I do mine, because its the same, but different.

Haha. I have struck a nerve perhaps... Hmm. I agree with the posts above. Get a raider. It's very you, not like us poncy 100 owners Don't get me wrong, you'll fill the game bag over and over with a 100. You just will. They are superb... erelivent of calibre. But the same goes with a raider... You've done it before with one in twenty two, imagine that flatter trajectory of a new one in 177. That old raider of yours was no doubt out in the wind, rain and snow, and still delivered the goods. A companion in another word. It's that element of a rifle that's makes it a 'mate', in a wei

Congrats. Miss with it and ya shit... Is the basic consensus

This might be a permission that's more trouble than it's worth. The rabbits may have won... Sometimes they find home in a place that's just too much used by the public to do anything about, and what trouble are they actually causing...? On a football field. It's not as if it's anyone's lively hood with crops etc. again, you may have mentioned something about that.

I reckon you should use a .223 mate while there's a game on. Joking aside as said. This is a perfect permission, if it is a permission, for a real decent PCP. High end, real accurate and quiet. I've never said this before but a HW100 in 177 would be the tool for the job. I've literally only skim read the post, so I have no idea of budget or anything. A pucker 510 in 177 would also be sound.

£25? Ill even drive up and pick it for that mate. Let me know.

Usual place then

Can I ask what makes you say an Ultra? Why not a Scorpion [essentially the same thing? or an AA? I reckon an 410/510 would give the 100 a pretty good run for its money. There just as good... as the shooter. Mate of mine has a s410 a very good gun , but he is amazed on how accurate the ultra is ,with the reg it's got a spread of only 4 fps over 55 shots and great little gun for hides, tight woodland and great with my pulsar N550 on top and probably cheaper with a reg than a S410 and a 510 Fair point. If cost is an issue. I, personally would take a 410, defiantly a 510 over an Ultra.

One of the best looking 100's Ive seen. Works well. Im surprised you've come up with something that looks that good v'man. Nicely done. Dunno what that shit is around the hawke optics though...

You have changed. I actually can't believe what's in front of me here. Hope it goes to a good home. If it doesn't sell I'll buy that stock off you And that trigger unit with blade.

I use 6. My aim is steady and Im sorted for my 22. 6 in the field is perfect. Standers are made a bit easier too. The below attempts to show my breakdown with a zero at 32 yards with the Hawke Sidewinder and my 97 at 10.2 FPE • 20 yards - 15/25 yards + 32 yards - 8/35 yards • 40 yards - 42/43 yards • 45 yards

Ahhh an slimtech mod. Bit old school them [Not tried the newer ones, but Im guessing its the same tech in a newer outfit, the late John Darling used one of his to great effect, but Im sure he was a demi god anyway for his knowledge of shooting and the game]]. I like them the looks and they fit well with a HW, especially your in a 500 stock To be honest, there isn't much thats much better than the standard HW mod. I know its a bit samey as all the others, but its damn effective. I remember an old post from AIrgun BBS when I used to frequent that forum. Heres the link. http://www.airg

Can you do me a bloody sleeve for my Pro Sport or what?!

I know thats what you meant mate. I was just making a post.

Your a diamond. Tar Pianoman. Its a standard HW77 stock mate. Just sanded down and wiped over with with WD40... gives in a somewhat Oaky finish. The honey colouring is actually appearing from all the muggy hands, rain and usage. The 97 is most defiantly for use, and not the gun cabinate. Atb.

The thing is mac, with all this selling your set ups to get yourself a 100, whether is be in 177 or 22 [please be twenty two], all your gonna do is come on here and spank ya monkey over how accurate it is. And no offence to you my friend, but this is my point previously with other 100 posts, we all know. Im a bit, and this is the wrong word, 'disappointed' your like us all and choosing a 100 being such a stable mate of the forum. You've not 'followed the rest' for sometime now, what makes you change your mind and go the 100 route if you dont mind me asking? You've always done just fine with a

This is a valid point. In another post I mentioned that my 97 was making a racket sound after some abuse at the weekend [and just abuse generally], I found out that I had a sample of the dirt in the action creating an awful scraping sound on cocking. Anyway, stripped it down for a re build this evening and I actually found that the previous applied grease had almost disappeared. Bisley gun grease too which is good. Now. Im not one for sparseness when it comes to grease, obviously not over the top, and so after I took it apart this evening and noticed that much of the grease previously appl

Erm. What does 'factually' mean? This OP has turned into a proper pork sword fight.

I dont know if this is even worth a post, but it dawned on me while shooting this weekend for what must of been about 8 hours... 1 1/2 tins of Fields later... [expensive day] that as the light started fading and using the small 6 score on the Bisley dartboard style targets as the aim point through the day, it must only be 4mm edge to edge, my grouping tightened up to literally one hole groups, as in one pellets width hole at my zero of 32 yards. I wouldn't say I was pro, there are much better shots out there, but think Im an ok shot at normal distances, and can only put it down to not actually

Brand New Hw100 .22 Accuracy ?
Rez replied to vizlauk's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
It's brand spank. Bed it in. It's a very rare post this to be honest as we all have our cocks out over one hundreds and how good they are. Don't we? Like all rifles and brands, there are some ones that come out not working as per expected. My own 100 did take some bedding in, never tried any other pellet than Fields 4.52, but now it's spot on. The good thing is that we can safely assume it isn't the shooter in this case, going on macs and yours exploits and from what I understand, your not a bad shot. I do hear that HC do bang the items together somewhat and get um out the door. Maybe
