  1. Your right it doesn't... Thank god.
  2. Shootlodge. I came across this about 2 days ago... had to dig it out. No images yet, but thats the best time to get it. http://www.guntrader.co.uk/Guns-For-Sale/BSA_Air-Rifle_Mercury-Target_For-Sale_150604060758142 Could be the one your after... some coinage though.
  3. Nice man. Looks like theres some right potent shrooms growing in the background. Pick um, dry um out and send me them. Now
  4. Here goes... 10 + pages on the topic that comes around every month or so. There as good as each other. The positives for one are negatives for the other and vice versa. If you can't be arsed to strip choon it, go for the TX, if you can, then go for the 97. TX has better wood but a shit loading port. The ratchet can be silenced but the 97 is much simpler loading. There is no point going on which is more accurate. As an edit, if your in the AA corner, why not stick with them.
  5. Falcon Menace. Hawke Sidewinder Tac. MTC. But you know of that. As Ive mentioned in a previous post, the heavier the better. It just tames that slight kick. What there is to tame. Whats it going on?
  6. Shit 'ot I find myself rotating one all the time on the Airgun Centre website... Superlight. Any calibre. Proper fieldsports companion.
  7. Hello Rez The link takes us to the Nikon 4.5-14x40 sf niko plex ret for 199, is that the one to go for ? I had been looking at the Prostaff 3-9x50 rifle scope bdc, what you think ? Are the Bushnell legend 3-9x50 crap as no one has spoke up for them ? Evening. Ner, Bushnell are mint. Its all just preference. They will be as good as each other. Get that Prostaff and you'll not look back... its somewhat an acquired taste mind, but its proper understated glass, units are real sturdy too. Id go for the BDC, but if your a purist, and they are rare these days, go for the 30 / 30 nikop
  8. 25 @ 50 Perhaps a bit overkill, but pretty sick all the same.

    Same Story...

Mark. You are right mate... I was waiting for this actually, especially from you Im perhaps preferring it as I need to make a dint in this rabbit population. Im hoping the more that gets put away the more chance there is on getting another perm with the land owners recommendation. Its a pure tool to get a job done. I dont find any real enjoyment in shooting it... Id never tell her that though... now that a strange thing to say I will be shooting my 22 springers this coming weekend though. Thanks for the info on the zero set. Atb.
  10. How much do you want for your imp? I watched your posts when you bought it ages ago from the chap on here. Keep me in mind when the time comes.
  11. Same rifle, same location, same result. Bloody rabbits. Windy evening mind, some got an inch or two hold left or right... I was tasked with getting something for the other halves parents and the BBQ tomorrow, or today depending on when you read this. As an edit, the one top left was shot from about 12 yards, standing, I knew the shot was good, but the f****r got up and ran what must of been 50 yards only to stop and stay still. On inspection the shot hit the neck, in one side and out the other, and it seemed to bleed out. Stone dead when I picked it up. Aimed at the head, my first zero being 1
  12. LGV Master Pro fellas. Best looking break barrel out. Seriously. LGU wood on a LGV. £350. End of topic.
  13. There not the best out of the box though I know the rifle your on about... I think the staff just picked a figure out of the air and if it sells for that, they'll go out for dinner or something and stick what its really worth in the till.
  14. Obviously an air arms... But. I'd highly recommend the Walther lot too. Out of the box, no one can argue.
  15. Get the staff man. More aim points unless you're rare purist and go for the 30/30... Dare ya.
  16. Uttings are the best mail order company I've used. If you order before 2 one day the items will arrive and I absolutely guarantee they will be the next day. Packaging is superb and the service, as in letting you know where the item is from them too you, is faultless. Nuff said.
  17. Actually, depending on your calibre, I cant get my cock out enough over Nikon Prostaffs... I only say that as they have a nice but peculiar BDC ret, ideal for 22. Bargin this... http://www.uttings.co.uk/p102936-nikon-field-master-4-5-14x40-sf-m-np-rifle-scope/#.VWwj11xVhBc
  18. Off subject but how come your text is in times and not the standard Helvetica?
  19. Calm down timmmehhhhh 'sake. I check back on this post and your throwing your handbag about Peace.
  20. Got a new LRF 600 (£125) or LRF 900 (£150) if your tempted Rez. I am. The 600 seems a good way to go. I'm guessing it works as expected and well? I'm a bit put off buying stuff from here, no offence of course and I'm not saying you will, but had a pain in the arse deal that I bought and had nothing arrive kinda thing a month back.
  21. No mate. No apples whatsoever. I asked why and was informed that they've already been and gone, awaiting the next flowering. What can I do with apples and rabbits?! Do they even go? Rabbits loins and a cider saurce... Or jus whatever that is.
  22. Nice one V'man. Is it any good?
