  1. was looking at those cool boxes, around £50, doesnt look like youd get more than 4 rabbits in them.... if i catch more than 4

  6. Ive been asked to do abit rabbit control a few miles away, am planning to ferret the day, camp the night with maybe abit on the lamp depending on heat and air rifle then ferret next day... If i manage to get anything on day 1, will they keep to the following night when i can get home and freeze them and be safe for human consumption, any recomdations? No game dealer near by that i know of...

  11. If you're tempted to get the op done I'd ring round a few other vets for a quote - £140 for castration sounds a bit steep to me. that included fee for sending the swollen one away for testing, so we know what kind of cancer it is... how hes likly to be after it?
  12. vets talking about getting him castrated then sending the swollen one away to be tested... am in two minds, get that done for £140 or pts.. could get him castrated and hes ok for a few more years or it doesnt help...
  13. my old snipped hob has one massive swollen ball, i know its going to be a vets job tomorrow... am i right in thinking cancer is common in snipped hobs?
  14. am looking to start using the long net this season, ive no real experience with them, mostly purse nets... ill be using them on grouse moors, hills, and hedge rows?? if possible.. what would experienced long netters recommend for a novice..??
