  1. Five the other night.. Its now Kelts second season, first time out on the lamp this season because of a ripped stopper.. Last season she was picking up ones and twos, fields werent that busy and a combination of me and her learning played a part. The other night was the best night ive had out yet, no massive numbers, was chuffed to see her running better and striking better than last season.. Her turning isnt quite as good as glens, but there was also an improvement there.. Shes still a stuborn f****r, still needs work, one thing i cant fault is her prey drive [

  5. the problem is they rot from the inside out.. shot blasted and a good rust eater then underseal would be decent.. try treat the inside if you can, ive been playing with the idea of old engine oil, abit messy lol

  7. Like my two lurchers, my lamping experience in limited..First time ive come accross this, am sure afew of you lads have good experiences of stuf like this? Had Glen out last night, trying to work on him looking down the beam, lamped one rabbit, he spotted it to late and it was off into cover, as i moved the lamp a few metres to the left of were rabbit was, shined a fox lying faced in the rabbits direction.. Rabbit was a lucky fecker last night, if it was Kelt or i never shined it the fox would haveprobably had it.. Rabbit 1, lamper/fox 0

  10. f***ing about with the mobile phone camera early on, kelts been rested for abit so good to get her back out.. She'll soon be good to go =
  11. Lost a couple jills so after a jill to work this season with my older jill... From working stock or a proven worker.. I know its abit of an ask, might be someone needing to get rid. Am near edinburgh, dont mind driving a few miles... Worth a try
  12. the hut ill be using for the kennel is probably to big for my two lurchers, a smaller area will be easier keep warm when needed.. am thinking of spliting the hut into two areas, one for the dugs to sleep and other for gear.. what would be the ideal sized area for two lurchers,
  13. The mrs would have me homeless if any of mine touched a cat. We have two, bring plenty food to the door that the ferrets normaly end up with

  15. the albino ended up in someones conservatory(facebook to thank for that ), she kept it the night and the sspca picked it up.. polly is still missing
  16. Yesterday i was down three ferrets because of some young lads... One had to be pts, got the albino back and one is still missing.. Arranged to go ferreting today, so took the albino and the snipped hob... The hob hasnt been ferreting for a few years, so wasnt sure how he would do.. These days hes just the jill servicer/takes them out of season.. Netted up the first few sets, i put the hob in and lee put one of his hobs into another set.. Didnt take long to hear some thumping underground, after alot of f***ing around turned out the hob had killed underground and moved on.. We put in a

  18. I see no reason why both clubs can't run and be a success , two clubs in future maybe even working together at times , is better than none and a lot better than fighting each other..
