not quite sure your reading my post, or ignoring it.... am arguing, that wouldnt be scotlands deficit
-
i was talking before 2014 mate, most of the prosperous nations are small countrys... could debate those 2014 issues with you mate, i dont agree with you, but it wont make any difference, yes lost if we get another crack at it, i reckon people will learn from mistkes... the eu argument will be similar but different lol, membership can be aranged in the time the uk leaves, the eu man in charge of brexit is pro scotland in the eu, there have been other positive stuff come from eu members on scotland staying a member... like in 2014, alittle common sense is required
-
part of the reason we have a difict is because we are part of the uk ffs, our economy is alittle different to greeces... lets nor forget is we had won indpendence years ago we would most likly be running a surplus, arguing to stay in the same broken system thats got us in this mess is mental

Scotland's budget deficit is around 9%, compared to 4% deficit in the rest of the UK. Scottish deficit is bigger than Greece - and I think we all know what state they're in ! Latest polls show that support for independence has dropped to 39%...... i know the gers figures etc say its over 9 mate, it would be less, if everything was listed as scottish
-
its fact mate, if i go read before i post, will you
-
mushroom, is it true that gers figures dont tell the full story for scottish tax revunues, as alot of them are listed as accuring in england.. if the true figures where available am sure it would be less than 9.7, if we were independent, would could also make different choices from the uk to help put what ever defict right, instead of cutting, investing in the right places
-
Its not possible to get the actual figures of what an iscotlands £££ would be, because everything scotland makes isnt recorded as scottish, also differnt choices would be made, you can speculate on the currect setup with one hand tied behind back and being forced to do what wm says.. An iscotland would run at a loss, how many countrys in the modern world dont? Am no top economist, but its quite clear if we continue on the same road as the rest of the uk, we will be right next to the titanic.. just out of interest, instead of ripping into me lol, can anyone give an accurate account of t

all the experts got the predictions wrong, it did look very positive, why there was massive investment just before.. will oil continue to bring in £££ for years to come, yes, does scotlands economy depend on oil, no everyone jumps on the band waggon, scotlands economy, they would sink, couldnt afford it bla bla bla bla, before predicitng doom and pointing the finger, would the same people remind everyone reading this thread how well the uk is doing, really, and how the future looks???? You really are an idiot without a clue how economies work so out of your depth it's pathetic now.

must be another reason why she has so much support up here.. it might not happen, this could be used to try "barter" a better deal

who was right on north sea oil.... everyone got it wrong mate
-
both sides could be guilty of that mate, the debate will be different if and indyref campain starts, lets be clear though... the snp have said, still looking into all other options first

would have been interesting to know the number of english living scotland who did vote yes, by all accounts there was a few, i know of some.... Dunno but do know the majority of scots votes NO! Btw has you're party lost the f***ing plot! That tube on tv the day. If we get independence we will keep the pound. Hows thar gonna work? leave the union join the EU and keep the quid. FFS SNP are a joke. Bet they lost a few undecided with that belter lol also andrew neil made a good point. The EU will not accept scotland until its deficit is down. They are going to f**k scotland if they had t

not sure if we should use the pound anyway, its now less than a euro........

compare what was said then and now about eu membership and use some common sense... ill leave it for now, if the indy2 campain starts.......
-
trying not to get dragged into this again lol the no campain stated many times, only way to stay in the eu was to vote no, was an important message for the no side as for eu membership, yes didnt win so we cant say if were right or wrong, but going on whats been said so far if scotland were to become independent now id say the yes campain were spot on
-
reported to BPR lol
-
your choice mate, and i respect that.. i do hope you change your mind as the facts are put in front of you, like last time.... back in the indyref, the no campain stated many times, the only way to keep scotland in the eu was to vote no, the yes side stated it was more at risk voting no, part of the yes vote was to keep scotland in the eu, thats why i hope, when it comes down to it, those who voted yes last time will again when looking at the bigger picture and those who voted no, will learn from mistakes
-
Its just my opinion mate, what i believe... We can debate it another time , am sure there will be other threads
-
Yous might have an idea how id vote...... Seen a few no voters say they would vote yes, also seen some yes supporters say would vote no... If there is a indyref2, it will be similar to before, support will grow for yes as the campain runs, it could go either way I hope to see it happen in my life, iscotland and a united ireland
