  1. Doesn't look too solid !!! On the other hand, the dog looks in good shape
  2. Mk1 reg/gauge is white and the mk2 is black gauge... Or so I was informed... I have a mk1 R10 with mk2 internals as was sent back to BSA number of times and they upgraded all internals to mk2 versions
  3. does all dry food mot swell up when waters added think it does Yes, maybe it does but that stuff easily doubles in size if not more, imho it's shite, just crumbles in the hand and swells like a balloon when water added - it's the worst dry food I've tried...
  4. Skinners field and trial is utter shite, add a little water to it and watch it double in size... It'll do nothing but give ur dogs bloat... Give the best possible dry food with meat being the 1st and main ingredient
  5. Some Awesome pics there mate... Really nice
  6. Fantastic mate, nice write up and nice of you to know when your dog's had enough work for one day... Fair play to the Tomo and Vin for putting on a great day for you too...
  7. Try some lamb mince, tripe and wholemeal bread (mix bread with little water), fatty beef mince too... I have a 16 month whippet mate and he a fuker for putting weight on, he's normally around 9 3/4kg and stand about 21" to shoulder, but he's a very picky eater - sometimes he'll eat 100% of his food then next day or two he'll only eat 50% I was told he will eat when he is hungry... I'm just learning to accept he not a big eater and he's just a lean dog (not underweight, just looks lean)... You could try feeding smaller meals twice a day ???

I've decided to buy 2 separate lenses in next few month - one for wildlife/my dog running/hunting etc which will be Canon EF 70 - 300 f4-5.6 IS USM L-series lens and then I will be looking for some advice on a landscape/wide angle lens and then just keep my kit lens for general everyday use
  12. Very nice mate, pup is a little stunner... You can see by the black and white photo he is still finding his feet while running theyre funny at that age
  13. I'm no photographer but i'm trying Coursed and retrieved
  14. I thought you were meaning coats/fleeces in general.... I know the Equafleece do get good reviews but normal whippet/greyhound/dog coat do just fine imo.
  15. Good for thincoated x's... Whippets, greyhounds etc Ideal for roadwork in cold weather but would never run a dog or even exercise with one on but good for before and after to keep muscles warm etc...
  16. They look awesome... I'm taking it they've been photoshopped and made into HDR pictures...
  17. Do these count as bokeh ??? I know the background isn't as blurred as some but I took these of my whippet in summer

  23. Well people, I'm seriously considering selling my S410 with custom thumbhole stock and original sporter stock, hawke 3x9x50 scope... (No sling or bipod) It's recently been serviced and work done by Air Arms and new barrel fitted, seals etc at cost of £130 It's a stunning rifle but I have an R-10 which I'm itching to use and feels more suited to me when I shoulder it but out of convenience I keep reaching for the S410 It's .22 Just trying to gauge any interest and how much I should be asking/expecting to get for it ??? http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/331347-s
