yes you can use it just wipe it down, bass and flounder rods use the same blanks as carp rods, 2.5 test curve has a cast weight of 3 ozs. enjoy the sport using your carp rod.

sounds like your frontera needs a service, and yes some times the egr will stop it from starting but to me sounds like a air leak.
