    I know what you're saying fella. Game is thin on the ground around these parts, permission is even thinner on the ground and nights off work for lamping are hard to come by of late. I sometimes think I don't need the 2 lurchers I've got but they are here to stay now and they enjoy the daytime mooching even though it's often unproductive. I can't see me ever being without a little runner though. Even if it's just a little whippet in years to come. When them cold windy nights come i get excited like a kid in a sweet shop.
