  1. I believe that Tony Wall says that the 95 is his favourite springer.. congratulations on your 95 , it is a gun for all reasons.
  2. That is a nice job , it reminds me of another one, you can Google it at -Airgun Huunting, Another Stock upgrade:HW97 ,--- Also in Black and stunning, to me, anyways.
  3. I am a springer guy, TX, 97K, 95, RWS 34,Pro Sport, and my current favourite is a HW98 .177 with an unbelievable Tony Wall modified HW Rekord trigger. Thanks.
  4. Good outing, can`t make out what gun you have , P1000? very nice looking piece.
  5. Finacial advisor, and the AA TDR is very high on my list.. I appreciate the history of the action, the 410, and the way it was transformed into a very usefull new package..
  6. I think that would be the right thing to do , the important thing is to have the proper weight in the pellet weight box. The pellet profile should be the same as the super fields.
  7. Congratulations, looks like a village ..
  8. Really jealous of that accuracy, I have a 95 too , to me it is a gun for all reasons..
  9. Hello Rez, what pellet are you using?
  10. I read a good article on he subject of washing pellets, as far as change of accuracy it was negligable, but it seemed that the barrel was less prone to fouling, I think this makes common sense..
  11. I just picked up the same gun, yesterday at 42 yards with RWS Superdomes I was hitting a target with a cloverleaf pattern,.from FT sitting position, this is a quality gun , nice wood, weight and balance , it may turn into my favourite..
  12. Congratulation on your TX , I would tend to think in terms of 1" tube, look for something not too heavy , I have a MTC Viper on my Field target HW97 and it is great and heavy, but for field walking I think the MTC Mamba Lite, or Hawke Varmint 3-12 with 1/2 mildots, (I own both, plus a TX) keeps the gun in balance and will help with your accuracy. Enjoy.
  13. I have a Pro Sport, TX 200 Hw97kt and Diana 34 ,all the Vortek kits, some high power some under 12 ft pounds, no twang, easy to install, pleasure to shoot, and the company is there if you need help.
  14. If you remove the top hat your spring will twang. Have four of these kits, they are very steady on power, The springs are for a lifetime ..
  15. Just 5 days ago I bought a less than loved 1987 Diana 43 ,( 1987!), after bathing in degreaser and installing a Vortek kit, was hitting a spinner at 48 yards. . Point I`m trying to make is , take a look at quality second user guns , they can be brought back to life, maybe mine will last another 28 years.. PS cost was less than 50% of new..
  16. HW95 ,lighter ,built strong, and very accurate. Cheaper too.
  17. Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone..
  18. I find my MTC works perfectly with the generic mildot on chairgun.. thanks.
  19. I like the flexibuility of a variable. Like was mentioned for reviewing a shot ,say shooting at 10 and checking the result at 16. Where I have found it very useful is when I go after ferals in the barns or rats, I want a low # , for the lower light conditions plus I am usually shooting no more than 20 yards so the low # is fine, it also provides a wider view at the lower power. Thanks..
  20. Hello Rez, what caliber is the ProSport. Nice shooting. , No need to answer, I see it`s a .177.. Thanks..
  21. Hello Tron, I had a problem wih my Hammerli 850, cleaned and lubed my pellets , now no problems..
  22. So it has been 5 months since the LGU topic has been discussed , any new information to bring us up to speed. thanks
  23. Lot`s of good thoughts here, but all your possibuilities are very good . If I were you I would go to Field target meet and try as many models as I could. Sort of like going to the local dance .. happy waltzing
  24. Good on you Kieran, you get back for what you put out..
