  1. All your replies make being in this fraternity rewarding. Glad I asked the question..
  2. When I was a youngster they were BB guns and pellet guns. When I came back to them 50 years later they are now instruments of precision. I am just wondering which gun caused the shift to where we are today, was it the HW77?.. Looking forward to your insights..
  3. If that were my gun I`d be proud too, enjoy.
  4. Had a few scammers working on our Canadian forums, we solved the problem by asking for a picure of the article with a finger on a particular area of the merchandise, example on a gun , touching the safety, or fingers wrapped around the silencer, . If they have the article in their possession they can`t do it..otherwise not..
  5. Chances are Mark those TX's weren't straight out of the box ? Aye i know that Davy but was trying to tilt the lads attention towards the TX to consider. I`m having a right old "love affair" shooting the T Rex topped with a Mamba 3-12x44 (.177 AA fields) atb Sorry Decker, seems this part through me off track..
  6. I`ll through my hat in the ring for the best out of the box springer , ..... Walther LGV.. I own all the A List guns , this 1 out of the box took me 10 minutes to know and like.. scratch "Love"..
  7. Yes when I was doing the shooting I started to think I was doing as well as Si or Davy , and even maybe Rez..
  8. Just bought my LGV .22 Master Ultra last week, was playing around with ranges out to 17 yards , it was always pellet on pellet, but yesterday I went to my local permission inside the barn, only had 27 yards distance to shoot. I was going to experiment with different pellets and check for accuracy. Five shots in the same hole had me packed and heading home, Most times when I do this I`m gone for hours.. Not with this gun, Now I`ve got to wait for better weather to do some longer distances but in the mean time I`m mighty pleased with this LGV.
  9. Cheap I don`t know , but I own a .22 and I would easily pay that price..
  10. This fella has a few good videos , nice filming technique , enjoy.. on You Tube..
  11. Having just bought an LGV .22 I find I have to agree with you Charlie, but it might be too refined for the person looking to get a starter springer,== too smooth , too quiet, and too easy to shoot accurately. I think it is my easiest gun to shoot well..
  12. When I install my scopes the stop pin on the scope mount drops into the hole that is there to stop scope movement. I can either lock it touching the rear of the hole or the front of the hole , on a springer which is best?. Thanks , for the advice,,
  13. Whenever I get questions about the capabuilities of airguns I always refer them to Verminhunterstv.. It got me heading in the right direction, to HW`s Tx`s AA`s etc.. These boys need a monument to their work. Amen..
  14. I wonder why no one thought of cleaning the barrel?
  15. Really interesting concealment with only the 1 net and then the Ghillie suit.. well done.
  16. Just a thought Mark, if its rats your after zero at the range you will be shooting at , in my case that`s about 15 yards max, just a thought , this could make your life easier , not the rats though..
  17. Thanks Timmytree, I was hoping you`d chime in on this post..
  18. Hello Rez, I am of the mind to chop the spring, and if that dosen`t get it right I`ll get a Field Target kit.. And from the answers so far 11 and less FP..
