    The risk is still there even with a complete firearms ban. Though obviously reduced as there are less guns available. Freedom isn't about being safe, it comes with good and bad. Nonetheless it is freedom and a right to bear arms and defend is a fundamental part of freedom and indeed democracy. i got a good t-shirt brought back from the states ,it has a picture of a bear with a rifle and "i support the right to arm bears " written on it ,had quite a few nutters think its some sort of bear protection thing !!!!!

    There's about 250 million Americans and about 3 times as many guns.....if anything I would say they are doing well with guns. 89 guns per 100 citizens,8583 murders by gun in 2011,doing pretty dam well! ....so people stop committing murder and violent crime if you take their guns away? of course not ,and i wouldnt want the yanks to loose their guns ,guess the odd school massacre is just part of the risk you run with such relaxed gun ownership.

    a lot of pro active talk,how about a few of the lads off here ,that are near the poor guy who's been robbed ,turning up and giving some assistance/presence?Then perhaps word will get out people wont just take having their dogs nicked on the chin! This isnt a criticism just think its fine talking about taking action ,but seems like all thats ever done,immigrants,dog thieves,ect,we all moan a lot then carry on and hope the problem fixes itself.

    i stupidly gave a monthly donation to greenpeace,thinking oh well they care about the planet,i wouldnt mind it going on a bit longer for the future generations. What really pee'd me off with them was the phone calls ,emails ....."could you possibly give more?" Cheeky fcukers! They were really persistent as well !Have since found out what a big scam they are anyway ,so no longer getting my dosh!
