    All top advice especially on the H&S regs but I took a slight issue with this, when I was a union rep I'd turn up to sit in on any official meeting with the management if a member asked, just so the member had someone on side for support and to be witness to anything said.     You need to be careful taking in some of the above posts fella. H&S is a subject full of potholes. I have some knowledge and trying to expand this currently with NEEBOSH and as such I would not be trying to advise you but can offer my opinion on the little info offered: A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. so there are a few things to consider 1. I agree with some of the posts that the company is liable. However the liability can come down to individuals and the HSE do prosecute individuals now, so if it is within YOUR remit or job description etc to check the machine before use (

    I have a home made NV. As good as one 5 times the cost bought. TV shootin is not something I enjoy but the rabbits round me are majorly lamp shy. The best way I have found is to sit on a tall bucket, makes it easier to support the gun steadily and handy for carryin the kill in. Think Im guna get one of those with spinning seat on top. Hardest thing is getting range right so if possible you are best off getting some markers set up at set distances, or sit 30 yard from where you expect the target to be i.e. if you are ratting at barns etc. obviously no good if you are covering some ground.     It was my works do last night but I hate wasting a day after Ive been on the lash so I got mi arse out of bed about 7 as it was getting light, got a couple dozen nets in the bag, 2 stinkers and the lab and off we went. I live out in the sticks a bit so only had a wander around the paddocks infront of my house where I know there is a few small warrens and I knos there are a few rabbits, not loads but a few.     I think she is collie bull whippet, Im sure laddylurcher will be on and confirm. She is looking that she will make a right bitch. Dont get me wrong, they both are good dogs, but for what I would personally want in a dog and for the work I could give it, she would be the one. Always looks like a coiled spring and when she runs its like she isnt even trying! like theres plenty in reserve if needed. On top of that shes soft as a brush and an absolute stunner!
