so went to the clay ground this morning to find out it was a competition day.first thoughts are bollox but carried on regardless.10 on the first stand,8 on the 2nd stand,8 on the 3rd stand,then comes stand 4 and i f****d it up big time and could not find the 2nd clay 5 only scored.not happy but shit happens so onto the last stand and i reset and got a 10?.so total was 41ex50 with a 5 so not too bad.came 2nd in my group out of 6 so happy days.in the afternoon i went to the rifle club and got the henry out an put up 5 targets and averaged about 95ex100 so not too bad.last card started well with

cheers for the info but should of said targets need to be at shoulder height for fall of shot into sand(when shooting standing) and no metal is allowed because of ricochets.the range itself has a horse path not 15 yards to the left of it.

got the ledlenser P7R myself and find it is all i need in a pocket torch.rechargable,variable beam and only 150cm long.bit pricey but i will not need another.

so this is our setup,really looking for other options .

at my club we use wooden frames with slots to slide in correx sheets that are the same size as the house for sale signs.then we just use pins to fix targets to them.after other viable options for shooting all types of a4 size targets to sum that are only 6" square that can be put in multiple places onto the correx.i think the size is about 84x1200 if that helps.the others type we use is thick card that is not easy to staple targets to so not as multi purpose.the frames are about 5 and hail feet high that slot int post holes in the ground at 20,25,50 yards.will attach pictures tomorrow with a b

well i am left eye dominant as bad as you can get.so bad that i have taught myself to ignore it if that make sense.do have to pre mount though.when i have a go on the basc stand they usually say how the f**k do you hit anything it is that bad.do better on compact with an average of 88%+ with a o/u or a pump action it makes no difference to the score.sporting can be anything from 66%-88% with a o/u,pump or a semi auto.did start off shooting with one eye closed but only got up to 50% score so re learnt everything again from sratch.yes i know i should shoot left handed with my handicap but there -
