  1. I have a saluki bull whippet grey, wouldn't own any other cross now tbh, saluki and bull go hand in hand and create very capable animals!
  2. I've witnessed first hand what this cross is capable off, as I own one myself. I'm sure the owners of the pups will not be disappointed. Atb with them!
  3. To catch sometimes fallow were easy, really easy. In the shed hanging up before they even know what's happened lol Big herds in small fields you was almost certain to drop one, but then get one on its own or a couple of them in a big field and they take some catching!
  4. Pre ban, when I was 10 or younger, deer were my favourite quarry to run. I had a little 22" bitch that dropped chinks, muntys, roe and even fallow.
  5. The last 3 pics are the same dog mate, my bitch. The top 2 pics are her sire and dam. Atb
  6. Cheers, she'll be 3 in October she has served me well so far.
  7. I run a 1/4 bull x bitch. Dam bull whippet grey sire saluki grey, well bred. Sire Dam My bitch
  8. What you doing this weekend j ill be up for some of that on Sunday morning?
  9. People have different standards and always will simple as that, I've worked my bitch all over the country on all game and all land in front of all types of people and she's not failed me, I'm happy with that. Whereas my lamping partner has only run his dogs local on pretty shit ground, but he's just as happy with his dogs as I am with mine. If the dogs getting worked and the owners happy that's all that matters.
  10. Yep, like running a herd of sheep lol but get them in big fields and they will show you how they can shift!
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong stunt but I was told a man from the states dumped 4 stags on what he thought was a yote, got over to them and realised it was a wolf. Had to dump another 4 stags in to help and it still took a while.
  12. A dog called pastry over a dog called mincemeat, together they produced pie
  13. 3/8 5/8 fair enough you might not be that smart but are you seriously asking how you breed a 1st and 2nd generation half cross? The clue is in the name....
  14. I recognise that last dog is they're something white and fluffy next to or in front of him lol?
  15. Thanks for sharing that lol
  16. Yep, this one will have people thinking. Me and a mate was lamping some local fields to us. A long lane with fields either side with hedgerows too tall to see over. Well we was keeping to the hedge as this is where the bunnys run to when we heard a car coming down the lane, so we turned the lamp off and got down as we thought it might be old bill. Anyways we could hear the car coming slowly down the lane and come to a stop literally on the other side of the hedge to us, heard the car door open, then foot steps as if they was wearing boots, then the car door closed again but didn't drive off. 17. You want to see slough and feltham now mate proper shit holes and its like your in a third world country!
  18. How's the Black and Tan dog bred? It's a cracker!
  19. My bitch done the same when her pups were about 4-5 weeks she didn't want to know them. If they are eating thoroughly you have nothing to worry about mate.
  20. Where there's land there's an owner, and without that owners permission your poaching. Simple as that pal
  21. You'd think it wouldn't make much difference as your bitch is made up solely of sighthounds. But a grey is shear speed hence why even first crosses with pastel/terrier breeds still turn out fast enough for the job. If you think the pups will be suited for you then give it a go mate.
