I've seen a fair few chocolate coloured lurchers and they've all had bull blood in them, so thought that the bull blood was what through this colour into lurchers. Turns out you get chocolate greyhounds, salukis and whippets! Anyone own one and have any pics?
I got into lurchers and lamping after the ban, a friend took me out and that was it I was hooked. I must admit sometimes I wonder why I go through all the hassle that comes with it nowadays but tbh I've not known any better, as I got into the sport when the ban was already in place. So long as I can walk I will be out lamping with my dogs. Nothing will stop me no matter how hard times get. It's in my blood and always will be.
Yeah bought a 3 month old pup for 20 quid riddled with worms, covered in fleas, malnourished just a really really unhealthy pup. 4-5 years later I still own her and what a bitch she is, with me til the day she dies.
Mate if I went local I'd be having shit nights. You need to go further a field I travel the country to have good nights lamping and have met some lads who I will be friends with for life now.
Thinking of starting my dogs on raw, the amount of shit in complete dog foods and kibble is a joke. Basically just want some advice and information on raw feeding, and some supplier details and prices. Thanks
A friend of mine had a saluki grey done 3/3 a lot of times and took everything else single handed on the lamp. Very well known dog round my way was a cracker in his day.
I like the way they said it was once a traditional countryside sport and now is an illegal blood sport performed by gangs of criminals. The law turned the traditional country men into criminals the stupid fuckers!
