    Earlier on in the year I bred one of my bitches and this little cracker was produced. I'm aware red merle isn't that uncommon but I've never seen one like this before. Has anyone else? Dam and sire

    I've seen 2 dogs turn like a bus totally different breeds too. Plenty of rabbits soon sort that out. Might take a while but they will eventually get the hang of it. Took a whole season on rabbits for 1 of the dogs to start turning better but it was worth it.

    There's fit. And there's fit Lol my bitch is by far one of the fittest I've seen, not blowing my own trumpet but she has some good proven blood running through her vain's. And I highly doubt she could do 3 nights on the trot the way I LAMP.

    My little bitch is very fit, but I'm sure she wouldn't be all that on the third night. I've taken plenty of people lamping with there "fit dogs" and they don't last a couple of hours. When I go lamping I go all night, run all game and plenty of them, no questions asked. I don't think even my little half saluki bitch would be able to do 3 nights on the trot with the way I lamp. 2 I'm sure she could manage but 3 would just be pushing her too far, a days rest and she would be ready to go again. Edited to say by all game I mean rabbits and rats, obviously

    My mate had a 3/4 deer 1/4 grey x whippet, best catch dog I've seen! Weren't the best on the killing side of things but would catch Charlie boy before he even knew what was happening. Very fast dog

    I have a 2 year old bull whippet grey x saluki grey bitch. I know a lot about her dam ( the bull whippet grey ) as I have seen her grafting a fair bit. It's not until recently I wanted to know a bit more about her sire the saluki grey. When asking my mate about his breeding I was told he was bred out of a dog named dan bred out of Casper and a bitch named bonnie bred out of ghost? Not really Into the coursing scene so these names don't mean a lot to me? Any info about these dogs would be nice and if anyone could confirm that what I have been told is correct? Cheers lads

    Pre ban, favourite quarry is the hare! And that will never change. Easiest quarry apart from rabbits (due to the shear number of them), either Chinese water deer in big fields or fallow in small fields. May well be different to others but that's my opinion from what I've seen with my own eyes.

And this post sound like this lads been out wi the lamp how can ya count day time hares when most are sat in the seats tooked up. This lad wouldnt bi coming hunting wi me stood there counting lol. Am there to hunt and count at the end of the day or night when ive finished what am there to do and thats not counting lol. Why would I lie about the numbers of hares I see in a field? What would I benefit from that? And the reason I stood there and had a rough count of them is because the ground was flinty as f**k and th

    I know lads that have done it legal or not, and its a right mess. Injured or dead dogs is the main outcome. And they have a tendency to come from no where to help each other out.
